When you eat the french fries, will you put ketchup on them?

well it depends really on where i buy the fries and how they are made.. if i get them at a fast food resturant like mcdonalds or someting i usually just eat them plain before they get cold. If i buy a big thing of them at a fair i put salt and vinegar on them and then ketchup and sometimes cheese too! If my husband makes them here at home deep fryed ill do the same vinegar salt and ketchup. if i get them at a resturant like apple bees i will dip them in my hoiney mustard or something.. i guess it depends on the place, my mood and the flavor of the fries

Yep, french and ketchup are a great combo!;) I also add some mayo on it, since I like also the sweetness of the mayo and the sourness of ketchup.. Sometimes, I also like it as it is.

For the most part I do not like French fries. They need to be very fresh and hot. I do like ketchup on them. I have jalapeno ketchup here at home. I really like a certain type of fry, better than the traditional French fry, I like curly fries. They are usually cut in a spiral, and the ones I buy at Arby's restaurants are seasoned with some kind of a spice mixture,I am not sure what is in it besides the salt. I am pretty sure there is paprika, because it gives them a really pretty reddish color.I like French fried potatoes if they are made from real potatoes, and some of them have a little of the skin left on. I think that is the kind I get at Perkins restaurants. I still will put ketchup on them all.

I know sometimes when I get french fries Im too impatient I will eat them from the bag.LOL No time for ketshup.LOL I think they are good without ketshup.But my husband eats french fries with lots of ketshup. He really knows how to reck a good frech frie.LOL

When I get my french fries from McDonalds I would request for little salt and eat them right away without any dips. I like their (McDonalds) fries a lot and would like to savor its taste without any additional flavor. However, if the fries are from other place sometimes it tastes better with ketchup, or depending on the ketchup's taste I guess. But, then again, I don't really like ketchup so I would prefer to eat them alone, without any dipping.

I love Ketchup with my potatos, french or any other. I especially like the thick fries soaked in ketchup...Now i am hungry!

I like ketchup on French fries. I don't eat them that often. I actually haven't eaten at a drive through restaurant that serves fries in a very long time, several months I think. * My favorite take away is Taco Bell and they don't serve fries. Money has been too close to the belt anyway, with this tanking economy and my parent's declining health. * The potatoes I eat are usually baked. I bake them in the microwave, poke lots of holes in them and toss them in the microwave, high ten minutes, split them open, put a pat of butter in them, salt, pepper, yup, that's dinner.

I don't like adding condiments to my french fries. I prefer no salt or ketchup or anything. I'm a big fan of french fries. However sometimes if I'm eating fries and chicken nuggets I will then sometimes eat honey on the fries as well as the nuggets. I agree with you that condiments take away from the fries flavor!

I do like catup on my French fries. Mo mother eats hers plain. I am not a big fan of French fries, so I will often order something else if available or not at all.

I like eating my fries with salt, pepper, and ketchup. Or salt and ketchup. Sometimes, I even eat my fries with gravy! Or ice cream, as weird as it might sound. Bottom line is, I don't like eating fries without anything else on it.

I like putting ketchup on the frech fries cause I feel it tastes better. But it's also ok if I don't have ketchup at the time. Some of my friends like ketchup so much that even if they eat other fast food like hamburger,they also would like to put ketchup in it.

I like all sorts of things to dip my fries in. Tartar sauce, horseradish sauce, ranch dressing, BBQ sauce, and yes. Ketchup.

Yes that depends on my mood. When I have a lot of time I do open up the ketchup, but in the Mcd's here, they give us the ketchup in that sachets which are very hard to open. That might be the reason of me not opening them!

sometimes i do, sometimes i dont. if i get my fries at fast food then i eat it with ketchup. if i buy uncooked fries and cooked it at home i dont put ketchup but instead i put cheese flavor or barbeque flavor. the ones you put on popcorns. so i dont need to put ketchup.

I love french fries and I do put ketchup when I eat them. They taste so good with ketchup. In most cases, I even add on hot sauce to make it more interesting and tasty. I love hot and chili sauces so I used them in most foods that requires dipping or sauce. This includes french fries.

i don't like ketchup at all. i don't put it on anything...i put mayo on my fries. or i put gravy and cheese (called poutine) and usually vinegar and lots of pepper when i make poutine...yummy

hi youless, i like french fries, but not without ketch up I always put a dollop of ketchup on my plates, adn then dip the fries in it. I can eat them without it and did for years. But I prefer the ketchup. The interesting thing is a lot of the ppl dip fries in ranch dressing.
