I haven't read the book ( I'm not much of a reader ) but I have to pull the movie out every so often to watch it. It's one of my favorites.

I´ve seen it a hundred times...Actually I brought it from the US before it was out on sale in Mexico City. Reason? Not only is it a fantastic movie, but Vladimir Kulich is an actor of character, meaning that eventhough they ruined the original script by trying to make Banderas the star, all the story is basically about Buliwyf - Kulich´s character - I shall never forget all the ladies in the theatre holding their breath every time he appeared on the screen! I really think he is a great actor, he only needs more movies. I think that he would have made a wonderful Viking in Arthur - Clive Owen´s Arthur - due to his strong phisical presence. Cheers!
