thanks for your reply... same with me. i think price is the most crucial consideration besides the services that the airline provides.

Personally we have never traveled outside the United States so we have no idea what some of the others countries airlines are, but the one I have been the most satisfied with when we travel is either United or American Airlines. The only thing is we usually end up flying with whoever has the Best deals, so a lot of times this will end up leaving these 2 airlines out.

This is an easy question. Emirates are in a class of their own. A few years ago I had 4 long distance flights with Singapore Airlines in economy class. I was treated worse than I had ever been in any airline and I have flown with many. The planes were filthy, the staff rude and unhelpful, on the ground it was chaotic with double booking of the same seat and other errors..
I wrote a long detailed letter to the Managing Directer and got no satisfactory reply. It was simply "we hope it will be better next time". There has never been and never will be a "next time". Previously I had flown business class with them and that was fine. Emirates are good in all classes and their food, service and reliability is excellent. I now use them whenever possible.
