Don't use free versions of anything except Avast antivirus.Avast is the best because after you register you can use it for 14 months without any limitations! Also after 14 months you can re-register it.Also it works very good.People have rated it 8.9 out of 10!
So get it today and see its magic.

You can register it by only giving your email address and they will give you the key for registering by email. It's that
simple!
I downloaded Avast Home Edition.

I have tried avg but the demerit is that once a file is removed to the virus vault and if it is not healable will the system lose the functionality of that particular file.If you know more about this please reply.I don't know much about it

I used Avira AntiVir Personal Classic Edition. This can be downloaded for free at www.free-av.com
It does its job pretty well. I have never encountered any problems at all since using this software.
Have a nice day!

I use AVG, but do run other AV programs on a monthly basis. Ive set up scheduled tasks to run certain ones overnight at silly oclock in the morning, so when I am downloading overnight the PC isnt as idle as it needs to be.
