do fathers more like sons???

since i came into being, my father never held me for once.it's too sad for me, because he really doesn't like girls.my birth disappointed him.and as i grow gradually, he seldom talked with me.every time i saw him, he looked serious ,never smiling to me.naturally, i was afraid of him and usually avoided meeting him.now i am an adult, thing seem to go a little bit well, for i canfeel that he cares me in his heart, but never once dare i to touch him physically,i just saying in my heart "i love you"

hi, i think your father love you ,too. it is ture that many father like son more than daughter.but the father still her daughter.the parents all love their kids.the father usually hide his love in his heart.we should understand him . we should be active to talk with him and see him when we are free.

yes, now, our cold relationship begin to melt away, but i really can't forgive what he had done when i was young. every time i went out with him , he never held me in arms. i was such a little girl and had to catch up with his step with difficulty.that has cast a shadow in my childhood.i now am in a dilemma about how to face him.

I understand. i don't have a close relationship with my father either, but thankfully my husband is different. We have a four yr old daughter(this old pic is just my favorite). The sun, moon and stars shine on her for him, and the 3 of us are happy. Try not to dwell to much on your father. Look at it as he will never know what he missed out on! GIRLS ARE AWESOME

you are right, i really shouldn't focus so much on my father, after all, i have a devoted and affectionate mother. and i should live for myself not for his attention. maybe someday, he will feel ashamed for what he had done to me.
i also have planned to marry a man who would like daughter!
