Do you get frustrated with computer games?

Are there any computer games that you have played where you just can not seem to get anywhere or advance to another level? What do you do if you get stuck and can not move onto the next round or level? Do you just stop playing the game all together or do you ask someone for help or find a cheat code? I have been stuck on this one level on Jewel of Atlantis for numerous months now. Sometimes I get so close to advancing and then time runs out.

Hi there.. Quite an interesting discussion that is.. Yeah, I do get stuck at times when I am not able to move forward.. And then, I seek help from my friends who always are ahead of me...LOL.. I never stop playing the game.. I give it 3-4 tries, and if still I am not able to manage it, I go for help...

My husband and I get frustrated with video games to the point that we stop playing them. My husband wants me to help him with Fear as he is currently stuck in a spot (I've helped him find his way before) and I quit playing Ecco The Dolphin because of not being able to avoid the sharks (plus they were scaring the crap out of me anyway LOL). I also quit playing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater for some time as I could never get the hang of doing any of the stunts...that is until one day I saw my nephew play it and well I might add. Seeing him play it made me want to try again and I got the hang of it. I never asked for help (or cheat codes). I just figured if my nephew could do it, so could I! LOL

hello! that happened to me last year when I played the Nancy Drew mystery game. I was stuck for a couple of weeks in the same situation. I didn't know what to do anymore so in total frustration, I looked up the Nancy Drew game site and registered. That way, I'll have the access that I needed to get the cheating techniques in particular to the situation I was stucked into. Thankfully, after learning about it, I was finally able to finish the game.
But there was a game that I tried playing too. It was a long medieval game. When I got stuck in the same scene for days, I finally decided to just let it go. After all, I had just begun the game.

I really don't have time for computer games..I seem to be so busy any more with my employment..and if I am not doing something with regard to work..I am chatting on messenger..writing for my webpages or blog..or something else more constructive..
On weekends I may go to pogo.
Glad you have time for games though, it helps you to relax..I suppose now that you are taking Verve you should be typing through the night;)

The only computer game I play is The Sims 2. My son plays a lot of other ones but he ends up getting cheat codes. He gets real frustrated when he can't beat the game.

i think its not good to play with cheat codes then you lose the very essence of the game

I mostly play tetris and yatzee, probably ol' ladies games to you but I rather enjoy them. My scores are so high now I just can't seem to beat them but I refuse to reset, I'm stubborn. I don't spend much time at all on games since I found out about myLot. I love it here. I've always wondered if it's a one of a kind or if there are others like myLot ???

For me, it will depend on how far into the game I am. If I did NOT pay for the game i.e. it is a free game I found online, chances are that I will give up quite soon unless I am very sure I will like the game.
If I paid for it, then I will grind my teeth and try to get my money worth.
If I am already quite a bit into the game, I will read the guides readily available to help me along. Believe you not, I love reading guides and finding out things about the games that I have not discovered myself.
Sometimes even if I can't play the games (but like them), I will still read the guides to satisfy my own "longing". :P

i love to play computer games and i also own xbox. I also stuck on some levels sometimes......
In that situation, i just open my internet and search for cheat. Thats the best way to avoid being frustrated. There very few games that are possible to end witout cheat codes!
Well, i havn't played Jewel Of Atlantis yet....
but remember cheat codes are the best way to enjoy the game to its very best!!!

Three words, World of Warcraft. Sometimes that game is so frustrating!!! But for most of the time it's full of beast slaying, power-levelling goodness. Hehe.

I do not think that I have played any computer games like that in a long time. What I usually do is just stop playing because I couldn't never get anywhere at all. They are very frustrating and not worth wasting time on in my opinion.

Ohhhhh Cubis... I always get to the 6th level and then run out of time!! You never have enough time for each level. Just get so close and then stop. I have to get out of the game sometimes I get so annoyed.

I still remember getting hooked on Wizardry: Crusaders of the Dark Savant....and couldn't solve a lot of puzzles for many months...
And at that time, I never heard of Internet...until one day, my friend show me how to do the dialup....We managed to download the walkthrough and I completed the game after a couple of weeks...
