Still far too early! Where my best friend works she has in her place Christmas music playing from the end of October right through until Christmas Eve! However the day where you would expect carols to be playing on Boxing Day they are not! I mean how stupid is that? It's bad enough shops stocking up Christmas stuff end of September but playing Christmas music now is absurb. By the time Christmas does come people will be so fed up with it, in their faces, on tv, in the streets in the shops! Christmas is far too commercialized aaaaah, bah humbug!

Sure they are playing Christmas, as soon as Halloween was past. Actually on Halloween. I heard a Christmas song this summer on the radio, but I think that was a glitch. We have been practicing Christmas music since September in the church choir, but that is because we will make our presentation the first week in December. We try to get a good Thanksgiving stuck in there, in my family, because it is good to be Thankful, and because I am thankful for my kids, who were born at Thanksgiving.

Lol.. our stores started their Christmas Campaign in October! It's all a ploy, my friend, to get you into the Christmas spirit and encourage you to spend your money in the stores! :)
Personally, I love the atmosphere. It makes you feel all warm and fuzzy on a cold day. I can put up with it!
Brightest Blessings.

I think it’s too early but I too can hear Christmas songs playing everywhere here in my town. Malls are displaying Christmas decorations since last month I guess. Well it’s normal here in my country, we’re like one of those countries that spend in extravagant ways during Christmas.

As of this minute, (1:04 pm, Nov. 9, Friday) I have not heard a single Christmas carol on radio. (I live in Toronto.) The stores however have all the decorations out as early as two weeks ago! I don't mind hearing Christmas music--at my age and after the health challenges, I consider myself pretty darn lucky to be celebrating another Christmas, hahahahaha!!!

hello kareng. I live in the Philippines and the malls or stores here play Christmas song as early as October. Sometimes, you can even hear a christmas song being played in our local radio station, as early as September. Some houses here in our subdivision have already put up their christmas decorations last month.

Stores in my area in Maryland already have complete christmas displays and the whole nine-yards up already. Coming from a place where violence is a major factor, its comforting to see somewhat of a humble ground. to me, it seems as though christmas is a time when everyone comes together, despite differences among people.

I happened to be in a store in September that was playing Christmas music already! I thought that was way too early. All the other stores around here are playing Christmas music now too. I think it's too early, but it's supposed to inspire shoppers to spend more money I believe?

I haven't been to a mall in a while; last time I went to one was to see "Grindhouse," and that was in April. I think putting Christmas decorations and playing holiday music before Thanksgiving is way too soon...which is one reason that makes me glad I shop on Amazon rather than at the International Mall.

Well it's November, so I guess it's one good reason to play the music so people could feel the ambience!LoL
I've been singing christmas songs already, in our house or even while walking on streets!LoL The mall near to my place is also playing music inside, even outside they had loud speakers placed infront of the streets while people are walking by or entering the mall.

In our place Christmas starts in October. I remember in school, we'd put up Christmas decors instead of Halloween decors just because we were lazy to change them on December. Music and Christmas trees pop out in malls just after Halloween.

Yes it's too early, but in our case here in my place when the -ber starts we usually put up our Christmas trees and decors. Of course Christmas music is on the air.
