Interests or General Discussions

I have not been on Mylot for ages as i have just been sooooooo busy.I was wondering if it is best to start a topic say for instance on travel,would it be best to start it in interests or in general,which do you use? Do you go to interests for topics to reply or to start a topic or do you just use general. Hope someone can advise

Hello Rosebug, lovely to see you again, I have missed you heeps, I don't make a lot of discussions so I am not sure if it makes a lot of difference or not by starting in the interests section, I usually do if I can slot into one, probably makes it easier for those who search through the interests perhaps, good to see you back, have missed your smiling face...:)

I use the interests. Before that, I was only getting a couple of replies. With the topics at least more people have a chance of seeing it when it comes up.
