I can't see any particular reason why they wouldn't exist? I mean, there are so many planets out there, so much space we haven't even explored yet. Why would our world be the only one with life on it? That's just silly, I think, to even imagine our planet would be the only one with life on it.
That doesn't mean I necessarily believe that we're ever going to know whether there is life on other planets or not. We're a long way away from the sci-fi movies that we watch about exploring the farthest reaches of space. But just because we can't see something doesn't mean it isn't out there.

I like that, just because we can not see it does not mean it is not out there. Just as I pointed out there are some things even here we have not seen, but they are out there.

Its possible. Its a vast galaxy and an even bigger universe. Numerically there are billions of stars for consideration and plenty of them with planets. About 200 billion stars in our galaxy. We can observe about 100 billion galaxies with current instruments. There is an estimated 60 sextillion stars in the universe but this number can vary of course. That is a lot of stars and many planets orbiting them individually.
There are also nearby examples of water/water vapor base planets like HD-209458b and Gliese 581c. Its interesting and further discoveries are being made of planets like this. There may also be life that does not require water or a water/oxygen based atmosphere (microbes, heterotrophs, along those lines).

I believe there is life on other planets, intelligent or not.
I don't think life forms are as we see in all the movies. Common movies show no imagination in creating alien life forms. Real alien life may be something we can't even acknowledge as life.

Yes I do, I can simply answer your question as I have. Now why do I beleive? Well look up some night, dont do it where city lights drown out the lights of the heavens, the stars and planets I mean. Try to locate a place where it is very dark. Look how huge the night sky is, it is deeper still than any ocean. It is so vast, so huge. Did you know that every day we discover new solar systems, some so far away we could never travel there on our technology, but they are there! In these other solar systems are suns moons and planets, planets that probably contain life, not life as we know it of course.
I mentioned the ocean above, the oceans right here on our own planet are so deep we can not travel their depths, for if we do we implode from the pressure. In our own oceans thier are life forms we have not encountered before, if this is true than why can there not be life forms up in our heavens?
What do you think?
To learn more about other solar systems including the one you live in i suggest looking up solar sytems on the internet or picking up magazines at a book store about astrology...prepair to be amazed!
