I have a sister, about 13 years younger than i am....
despite are gap, we share a lot of things in common like tv shows, movies, food, places, views etc....
I love it when we spend time in our room and starts sharing about how her day went while making her theatrical acts and those funny faces.... i like her laughter, just so contagious even if there are times her jokes are quite corny, you can't help but laugh with her....
Though there are times when I'm in low moments that i can't share with her the details, she can sense that and start sending me beautiful quotes or jokes to make me smile...
she's my baby sister, light and bubbly and cuddly too... lashu sis (she feels eeeewww when i say this to her) hehehe
how about you, how do you consider your sister?

I have two sisters (twins) and I am very close to the both of them, but of course because they are twins, they have a bond that I couldn't possible have with them, which makes me a little jealous sometimes!

:-) i guess that's normal... my younger, whom i feel close with has another sister in between us, pretty closer to her age... when the 3 of us spend time together, sometimes i feel left out because they certain conversations that i feel i just can't relate... they both way in their teens.... i still love them both anyhow...

Yes. For me, yes. I think it would be more beautiful that sisters are also considered friends. Although there are things that you cannot tell to your sister because you're afraid that they get affected and get hurt, you can keep that bonding between sisters and feel "one" especially in times of hardships.
I am close to my sisters now that we are older. When I was younger, I always looked up to them as models and really have great respect. We didn't have bonding moments before as we have now. But that didn't stop us from being close.
I am the youngest so didn't have any little sister to cuddle. That's why I do with with my friends. I am extra sweet and caring to my nieces and nephews and bestfriends because I didn't have that experience before, well being the youngest.

Agree jud.... we tend to be closer when we get older... maybe because we get to be matured individuals. Plus we tend to have a lot opportunities to go to places together, to eat in fancy restaurants together w/c we can't do then because financially you know....
I appreciate your closeness with your older sister (our resident mom) hehehe...

We are four siblings in the family and there are three sisters, that makes me the only son! whew! I am close to them though they never share my secrets! Bwahahaha. I am closest to the youngest, like you, she's my baby sister too. and close to 13 years younger than I am. She's the only one in the family who I could kiss from cheek to cheek (which she hates much coz of the facial hair I have), and carry in my arms and the only one who would give me a hug in the morning before going to school (she asks for "baon" from me and I ask her to embrace me first! Hahahaha).
Nice post! Made my day.

I have another little sister too.... a 7-yr old smart kid... whenever she asks something from me, i ask her for kisses on cheeks.... she termed it "thousand thousand pesoses" on my cheeks daw.... LOL i wish she won't change even when she gets to her teens.... kc my other baby sister tends to feel eeeeoooww whenever i make lambing and say "lashu".... like my brothers, they used to kiss my father's and my mom's cheeks whenever they get home or go out somewhere... then they just stopped... hahaha :-)

I sure miss one 7-year-old kid too... I seldom see her now and whenever we meet, she calls me "tita eldon" and her brother "tita jun". I miss her so much now that the last time I saw her was last month. Hehehehe. Same here, my baby sister kinda feels "EEEWWWWW" too. My sister always says that every time I want her to hug me and whenever I steal a kiss on her cheeks. Then she would wipe her face with her hands and give a stern look at me!! Hahahaha... Lil sisters are really fun to be with. I hope too that they would never change.
Good thing you made a post about sisters, bong_domingo. We could share a lot here! God bless you always.

Actually, I don't know where to start, hehehe, I have sisters not a sister. My older sister is 31 yrs old, my younger(s) sister - 23, 13, 11, and the youngest is 9 yrs. old. We are not stay together. I mean we are separated.
Me and my older sister are already married, we only share things sometimes, if she visited me and she really help me in the household chores coz I am a kind of person that is tomorrow habit or later habit. So she encourages me to stop this kind of habit. She's is my advisor and my friend.
THe 23 yrs old sister, we are not that close. She was raides by our uncle and that is why we did not experience being together. Although she's staying with our mother for a year but she migrated to Cagayan de Oro (a job opportunity). We did not share things that longer. And I am hoping that, we will be together if not now maybe tomorrow. heheheh...
13, 11, and 9 years old although they are the second family of my late father, they are my cutest sisters, and my playmates and my friends.....
Maayo pa ka Ma'am Bong, happy together sa imong sis eheeh....

You can still be close despite physical separation. At home, yes we are together but there are times that we couldn't agree on anything especially when "period" strikes. There are time that we don't talk because we don't feel like it. but there are time that we laugh a lot that my mom scold us often because it's late at night and we're so noisy.
But at least di ba despite you being separated, you still get to visit each other. you still have cute sisters as playmates? that's really cute... you still play dolls together? hehehe

My sister, Jodi is my *best* friend. Even though we live and hour and a half away from each other since I have moved, we are still on the phone about 2 or 3 times a week. I consult her before I make a descion and she does the same with me. I used to say that she put me on a pedestal and I was afraid that I would fall off, but I realize now that I do the same with her. She is my very dearest and best friend.

My sister and I used to be best friends. When we were younger we did everything together from taking baths together to going on double dates together when we were a little older. We slowly started growing apart in high school. She had her cirlce of friends and I had mine. Now that we attend different colleges, we call every now and then and see each other about twice a year. I love my sister even though we arent as close as we used to be.

awww..i envy you guys who have sister/s. i don't have any. i have three older brothers. i know its kinda off-topic but i'll share it anyway. my brothers are like my guardian angels/devils. i'm the youngest but they never me treated anything special. some girls would dream to have brothers around who would treat them like a princess, but sad to say my brothers don't. in fact, they would gang-up on me. but eventhough they treat me that way, i still feel a strong connection between us. they are not protective but they make me feel safe. the only thing we have in common is sports (especially basketball). but they would always cheer for the other team and would gang-up on me and make fun of the team i'm cheering for. so much for common interests. hehehehe. and so much for brotherly love. hahahaha
