I use henna on my hair. I have loved it since I was a teenager. I loved the whole ritual of mixing it and putting it on my hair. The only problem then was that it takes a long time and it's a lot of work (My hair was very long, well it's even longer now), and after all that work no one could tell the difference, as I am a red head already! So I decided that I would just wait until the day my hair started turning gray and then use it. Well, it's been a long wait, but that day has finally arrived! Hurray!!!! I am a big henna fan.

it'll be better as i face the same problem because of long hairs but if u wanna use this just for conditioning then apply it with curd and lemon juice and leave for 1/2 an hour only.

My husband told me when he was young his mother used the henna leaves to treat any sore finger nails. She used the pounded henna and wrapped it round the finger for several days. Normally it worked quite well.

I have friends that use henna a lot but I never gotten into the habit of doing it myself. I have tried it once or twice and it looks nice to have a tattoo that isn't permanent and it is easily removed.

‘Henna’ is the temporary form of skin decoration. It is believed to be an important Vedic custom meant to awaken the inner light. mehndi is drawn during occasions like weddings and festivals like Karva Chauth, Diwali, Bhaidooj and Teej. http://mehndidesignsforhands.org
