Ho w important do you think punctuality is in life? Are you punctual to all your appointments or are professionally punctual and socially tardy, or are you usually tardy except if its something really big. There is a culture of tardiness where I live and it drives me absolutely crazy. I'm pretty much always on time, unless I'm with some one who is delaying me. Sometimes though I do try and relax about if someone is taking longer to get ready and we r not going to be late for anything its just best to chill out and not be a pain in the neck. But professionally and socially when ur trying to be on time for a movie etc i get quite tense if im delayed by other people or have to wait for other for a looong time. What are you like what are you views.

i personally donot like to wait for anyone unless and untill there is some valid reason for doing so.i make sure that i am on time ofr my office as well as socially.however it irritates me if the person with whom i had a meeting does not arrives on time and then give lame excuses of traffic etc.a person should always try to be on time.it makes you feel good and the other person is also happy.puntuality is the firtst thing that is being taught to the military people.since puntuality is the essence of a good life

Being punctual is very important. This shows a positive impact on you. Showing up on time indicates your respect for other people, you are professional and have standard of excellence. If both parties are on time, both can save more time and do other things...=)

Punctuality is a must in life.infact it helps to plan our life in a progressive way and gives a good impression about us to others.but as all know good things are never easily done.i always try to be punctual.but most of the times it has not worked in my favour.i always tend to be late in almost all things.but certainly i have improved when looking at the best.i hope someday i would be punctual that others would take me as an example

puntuality is important to make things happen.other wise people around u get irritATED AND THINGS DON'T GO AS IN Schedule.i am 70% puntual that means not always..and that 30% of times i am late i see people around me upset.this 30%of times are mostly informal occasions and still people get irritated.so i guess its always importat to be on time.

Punctuality is associated with professionalism, it is also reflects how disciplined we were. I always consider this, since I don't want others to get a wrong impression about me. Just like when at work, we need to be punctual so we won't compromise any other duties assigned to us on our job. The only time I get late was when I was studying, especially monday mornings where traffic takes an hour trip to almost two hours..

Punctuality is very important for me, as I plan my day and plans accordingly in a timely manner. I try to my best to avoid getting delayed in any place, I try to communicate well in advance about my delay if at all it may occur.

I try to be punctual, but I'm not very good at it - I often underestimate traveling time, for instance. And I can't afford to overestimate it, either. So I often just give people general times when I will arrive at their house.

Yes ! Punctuality is a must in ones life. It becomes very important , professionallly if you are engaged in a profession concerning with saving a life form. Like Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacists etc. Same way scientists involved in the field where time keeping becomes a vital thing you need to be punctual. In day today life also I think if we are nt punctual we can end up our selves in a mess either by missing a flight or a train. Necessity is the mother of invention. The people living in Urban area where they need to commute daily by Local trains , they understand very well the importance of each second. Because delay in few seconds can upset their whole days programme! Yes ofcouse its easier to say than to do! Frankly speaking if the work or appointment is not very inportant to me , lwt me admid that I have a tendency of getting my self bit relaxed and I am not too keen on becoming punctual! But at the same time if I feel that the work requires my presence on the time I make it a point to attend the work well on time or some times well before the time. Yhis is the flexibility I have kept in my life, which I have started in the recent past once I have crossed 45! How about others?

Well, typically I tend to avoid unnecessary controversy whenever I can, so arriving late for somewhere is not something I want to do. Sadly I also have a habit of gauging the time it will take for me to do something incorrectly, which results in me being hidiously early. For example, I imagine it will take me 15 minutes to walk to the bus stop, half an hour for the bus to arrive, and half an hour for the bus to get to the city. And I like to give myself an extra half an hour as a sort of contingency plan. So - in reality it takes me 5 minutes to walk there. The bus typically comes in the next 5-7 minutes and it takes ten minutes on the bus. I'm nearly always an hour early.
