alright..i am into the mind set of gaining weight as i know and like most every person i meet say i'm a hella skinny and i look malnourished and i am..i wanted to gain weight..i know its not easy but i would love to give it a try.. see the problem is i work during nights..and i know this is affecting my system to lose weight more even if i eat a lot on work like eat rice twice..it doesn't help not much but dont at all..i am now trying to switch vitamins experementing which one will work and also pampering myself with milk..no coffee just milk.. now any suggestion to help me with this gaining weight goal? highly appreciated..pls do share.. thank you in advance..

Gday angel happy new year to you been a while and saw ya posting :) first things first best thing to do si get an overall physical with your gp one that you have been regularly seeing if not then find one your happy with so that they in turn can monitor your progress. Assuming everything is kewl with your body the best way to gain weight is through carbohydrates things like pastas for example however am sure with consultation with your doc that a qualified dietician could help you to get to the weight you wish to accomplish.

thanks hun...and hope is well with you as well..i guess i will have to consider the consultation with a dietician then...could be with my style of eating habits ot whatsoever...never be sure enough..so i guess i should ask an expert...hugs to you back

huge hugs have missed ya smiley, with any weight loss or weight program its always best to have an overall physical examination done as their may be other factors as to why not gaining weight. Dieticians are a great source if can afford them where you are as they work in consultation with you in a healthy manner to help you acheive the goals you wish. Glad to know your doing well :)

wow!!nice to hear some here talking about trying to gain weight.we-rather most of us here are trying to combact for extra weights.i guess eat lots of food rich in cheese and and fat!!but see that it doesn't hamper ur heart condition.sit a lot after food.eat lots of potatoe diets like frys, wedges,sort of stuff and don't forget it finish it all with loads of icecreams with rich fillings like nuts or caramel.chocolate syrup....u guess u are getting hungry now.go do lot of snacking.

As long as there is nothing abnormal about your situation then be yourself. You have a great oppurtunity before you and I'm not talking about MyLot. I could give you pages upon pages of advice but it won't do you any GOOD if you are already normal. Yes I said normal and not in quotations. Just be yourself. That may mean being quiet and going inside. Just don't get lost or frieghtened at what you might find.

I have always tried to gain weight because I've been skinny since I was born, I guess. hehe. It's very difficult. Even if I eat a lot there doesn't seem to have any effect. Two summers ago I gained weight, and people have noticed. As in, it was the biggest me they've seen. lol. But no, not that big to be even considered chubby. What have I done to gain weight? I remember I woke up early and slept early. And I had enough exercise, with cleaning the house daily. Because I was tired from all the cleaning, I ate a lot more, and slept a lot more. But now, I'm back to my skinny self again. Because school started again, I have no choice. Good luck with trying to gain weight. ^_^

that sounds lot like me..well so far i gained a little weight..from 79 lbs up to 85 lbs..things are running quite good for me though i still have to gain more than what i had gained already..i really hope i will gain more..
