How do you feel about the Osmonds this week?

Did you see the whole Osmond clan on Oprah on Friday? How did you feel while watching it? How do you feel about their father dying? He saw Marie do her tribute dance to her parents on Dancing With the Stars on Monday, got up Tuesday morning, showered, sat down on the bed, lay down and died with a smile on his face. For me, growing up I had wished I was a member of the Osmond family. I loved the Donny and Marie show. I hope to get the DVD's at some point. Watching everything this week has made me cry - a lot! I cried all the way through Oprah and cry every time I see the stories on Entertainment Tonight. I taped Oprah so I can watch it again. I loved the Osmonds and soooo feel for that family. They were raised by great parents and all turned out to be great people. What a family!

Awwww man I missed that too! I just went and checked our recordings and its not there - I'm wondering whether my husband deleted it and thought I may have watched it already! Aargh! I hope they have a rerun of the show at a later date!

I grew up with the Osmond's, not literally. But did enjoy the Donny and Marie show. They don't make good shows like that anymore. I haven't followed it as closely as you have. Though I did hear about his passing.

I wish I had seen them on the show. I've always loved the Osmonds, and have been watching Marie on Dancing with the Stars and have so enjoyed seeing her again. What a difficult time for their family. I'm sure there was a reason for Marie doing her tribute dance to her parents when she did....and thankfully her father was alive at the time to see her dance and to be happy for her. They seem like such a close knit family and I imagine it has been devastating for them all. If anyone has lost a parent they know how difficult it can be.
