Helping people brings joy to both , the helper and the needy. But we are not always able to help people due to some or other constraints.

I try to help people whenever I can. Recently a young man ost his sister, he didnt lok very stable financially, but when he approached with this glaring propblem, i could fail to appreciate the fact that he needed help-yes I gave him some little money. We are an egalitarian society that elieves in common good of our neighbour. The sad bit is that the world is changing too fast under the capitalist cash oreinted attitude. people are less caring today than they were in the past-the belief here in my country today is "Everybody for him/herself and God for us all" a very anti social spirit indeed if I must say!

Really academic2 ur reply is soo soothing. Its true that people are becoming more and more money minded. But people like me and u can make some conscious efforts to improve the present condition. We can inspire people in our own ways so that we can make earth a peaceful; and loving place to live in.

There is no time schedule involved in helping. Helping is instant. The moment an opportunity comes, if I am in a position to help any one, I never take second thought. Right now a kitten of one week old, was left out by it's mother. I am taking care of it. Whether animal or human being, I take pleasure in helping in the way possible by me, whether material help or physical. I often feel, may be because of this quality of mine, even if I do not expect anything back while helping, I too get help at the right hour, even from strangers. May be God is helping me through them.

This is a very good topic i must say. When people come to me and ask for help i tend to say: yes, i'll help you. The reason for that being that i can't see people suffering when i'm happy... of course i hope that they will help me when it's my time to suffer. the beauty of men is that they can put themselves in the position of another person so they can image what the other is going through. because of that ability man can help eachother with the problems they are facing eventhough they've never been in such a situation. the most important thing to do and to remember is that you can be involved inn the matter but you really have to keep your distance because otherwise you become to emotionaly involved and that's never a good thing. But all in all i say that if you are able to help someone you really have to do it...
