Can You Burp? I CANT!

OMG..You must be from another planet....LOL...even my dog burps...practice makes perfect...now get practicing...LOL..You must not have acquired our gene that makes you burp...

Thanks copperkitten you gave me my first laugh here on mylot today. I wish I could hear the growling noise, I am laughing as i think about you opening your mouth to burp and just growling!!! I can burp but It isnt something I am famous for thanfully, I never really thought it was a skill it just happens. I have never heard of anyone else who can't burp. If your mum says you burped when you were a baby maybe you need her to pat you on the back now and see if that helps!!!!lol On a serious note I don't think it is something to be worried about, you are just an individual with a growl instead of a boring burp like the rest of us do!!! You growl girl. =)

a growl,thats too funny.yes i can burp and one time i burped so loud that i thought i was gonna blow off the poor little mans tupe on his head because it was so loud.my husband couldn't believe that it was me,he was like how could somebody so tiny make such a loud noise.we laughed so hard because could you just imagine if the tupee on that guys head did fall off,i would of been in tears lol.but soda works wonders for me if i need to burp.how's everything going hon.miss ya.pattie

/me laughs Well Copper I can burp and usually its soda that'll set me off. Most other things I'm able to handle.

What an interesting topic... do you mean you can't burp at all or you can't burp whenever you want to? I've burped before, of course... but small quiet little burps. I have no idea how to command your body to burp on will though. It always astounds me how some people can burp the whole alphabet a time... how much gas do they have in their system? Anyway, I don't think we're missing out on much... just something funny to do when you're with your friends. Good luck on your burping though.

hi copperkitten, i too cant burp, and i find it very uncomfortable to not be able to! can anyone imagine all that gas building up and not being able to come out. yes it hurts. most of the time i have to stick my fingers down my throw to fake a vomit just to relieve the pressure (and no i dont vomit). its very uncomfortable and would love to learn how to burp too.

You are actually the first person I have ever heard of that can't burp. I can, and have some pretty good ones too! I surprised my hubby one night after having a Dr.Pepper (soda always does it for me). Your Friend, PurpleTeddyBear.

hello my little burpless buddy, my house mate suffers from the same problem. (with the exception of the growling). He does make up for it by having an incredibly loud fart though. do you have this same problem??? love James
