Do you find you have more friends on mylot then off?

I do. which is strange because I have never met anyone here off line but I actually found those I can trust more than anyone I've met in real life. The only one I can trust and rely on off line are my best friend and my husband, everyone else I keep them as acquaintances. Online though, I met quite a few close friends on mylot and ended up being helpful outside mylot too. Maybe this is where my luck lies.

I don't open up easily. But I have lots of friends off MyLot too. I have a good time with them, talk to them but don't really discuss my innermost feelings most of the time. I'm careful about opening up to people - on and off myLot (though I tend to open up a little more here). So, can't really say I have more friends here or off myLot.

It is always easier to share when you aren't face to face with someone. It somehow seems safer or less invasive. Face to face...I have to really trust people to share much with them. Funny...

Yes i find more friends here in mylot. maybe it is because I spend the whole day at home taking care of the kids and my partner. I have a very little time to go out and see friends. I find it more enjoyable to stay at home and post response with some of my friends here and exchange views with them and share myself with them.

Hi littlefranciscan! I have more friends here in mylot than off mylot. I am basically shy too but not very shy though. haha.. I agree that you can just type and talk without feeling too much shyness. Besides, friends here in mylot are always in communication with each other and constant communication somehow keeps the friendship alive here in mylot compared to friends outside who are so busy and sometimes can't find time off to hang out with you. Well, I really can't blame them because everybody has to work too and I am just fortunate that in my relaxation, I can still be with friends here in mylot. Take care and have a nice day.
