What are your favorite salad dressings

Well I was just wondering what people like the least, the most, and not at all. Here is my list:
1. Ranch- I like all the different kinds except for the garlic it taste funny to me and then those cheddar flavors they tend to make my stomach quesy.
2. Italian- I like this kind because it is light and it can be used for other things besides just salad. In fact I use it for a marinade for my chicken and for my broccoli, chicken, and rice casserole.
3. Vinegrette- I like this one because it is also good with various other things besides salad.
Well there you have it my favorites. As far as the ones that I really don't like there are only two that stick out.
1. Blue Cheese
2. Thousand Island
Just thinking about them makes me want to throw up.
Tell me what you use various dressing for besides salad. Also, let me know the ones that you like and don't like.

Being that I am pregnant when I read the Blue Cheese stuff I definitely wanted to throw up just thinking about it makes me nauseous.

a tiny bit of lemon juice is nice, or just naked
as I get older I am realizing that sometimes just a tiny bit of good olive oil and a splash of balsamic vinegar is good
both should cost at least $7 a quart

Ranch is my all time favorite dressing. I use it on salads of course, but I also use it as a dipping sauce for fried chicken wings. I can't stand the blue cheese dressing that usually comes with the chicken wings. Thousand Island dressing is my second favorite dressing and tastes great on a salad that has a bunch of tomatoes.

i like salad specially w/ basil and thyme dressing but sometimes when its not available in my cupboard i just dressing my salad w/ lemon, salt and olive oil taste good also but other salad dressing i dont like only basil and thyme is my choice:-)

I like raspberry vinaigrette. Otherwise I just put a bit of balsamic vinegar with some olive oil on.

One of my favorites is Zesty Italian and my newest favorite is called, raspberry vinegarette with a slight pepper flavor.
I agree with you on the blue cheese and thousand island, yuck..:p

I like most dressings but I must say that I do love just plain old mayonaise. I know that it's less fatting to go without a dressing but I'd rather keep my dressing and cut back on something else. The type of dressing with me usually depends on what I am having it with.
