In your life what is longest...

What is the longest amount of time you have kept the same job because I have heard people staying at jobs 20-30 years which to me I can never see myself doind sadly I feel like I get to confortable and I deceide its time to move on but im only 23 so i still have time to fine that one great job. So far I have worked for a 1.5 years at a food store.I worked 1.5 years at blockbuster.I work 2 years at an ATM company(1 year shipping clerk 1 year ATM tech).I have worked as Security 1.5 years and counting but I am activly looking for a job now. How do you not get bored doing the same stuff for many years?

I have been working for the same grocery store for almost 8 years now. This is long considering I am only 24. I started as a cashier and then went into management. I've recently decided management wasn't for me so now I work in the grocery department. I'm looking for something else though. I don't really like the ethics... or lack there of , that the company has.

I get bored pretty easily. The longest I have kept any job is 4 1/2 years. But, that is catching up with me. Some people don't want to hire me now because I don't stay anywhere for a long time.

thats what I fear i am doing to myself is giving off the impressiont hat im a 1.5 year guy then im gone but its just no job has treated me good enough to stay long than that.I mean if I can start a job making more then I make after being some where 1.5 years why stay?
