What topics do you use to start discussions that get lots of responses? I haven't had much luck. The most I have gotten is about 30 responses. How many discussions do you start each day? Do you keep replying to all the comments?

It's only been a few months. I go through periods when I don't post much. But, then, like tonight, I will have a period of intense activity. I'm doing my best to make $1 tonight. LOL I think I started in about May of this year. Maybe June.

I have never made $1 in a day either. But, I have made 70 cents. And, I did not comment and discuss as much as I have tonight for that amount. So, hopefully, I will make it. $10 is not much, but it will certainly help.

You know, thirty is a decent number of responses. I think discussions about myLot get lots of responses, and so do discussions about pets. I have a favorite discussion right now about Veteran's Day. The discussion only has about nine responses, but they are really long, quality posts, and I am loving the chance to read what others think and how they celebrated or remembered today. I do not know what you consider to be a good amount of responses.

Friend, the only response that you earn on in a discussion that you post is the first response you get. I have been told, but have not been able to verify, that if you have a discussion that has a lot of back and forth between people, you earn more. You EARN by responding. I earn a lot more by responding to discussions. If they are good responses you can earn 1-3 cents for each response. If you will look, you will see that I seldom start discussions. I have started several this week, but usually I just respond. I make payout most months. I have only been making it every alternate month for a little while, two out of the last four, because I work a full time job, plus one other job of 20 or more hours per week. I am a third of the way to payout right now on this month.

While I really do enjoy talking with other people. My main reason for posting here is making money. So, I guess a good amount of responses would be those that make money. LOL Yeah, I know I'm not going to make a living on myLot. But, the extra income is nice. Quality posts do make this process more enjoyable. That is definitely true for sure. Most of my posts do not get 30 responses. That's just the highest. Most get maybe 10. Some don't get any at all. I guess that's true for everyone, though.

I have made the most in one day by starting discussions. So, you can also EARN by starting discussions. I do agree that the longer and better quality posts do get more money. I have noticed that in my own responses, as well. I also work a full time job and write for Associated Content. So, I understand very well about being busy.

You are lucky... the most responses i got is 26... i still do not know the secret of getting like 100 response to a discussion... i can see that some members get mor that 100... but i think one of the secret lies in the number of friend we have in our list... Well, i think i will just keep on trying to get more responses...

That may be true. I do have several friends, but not more than 100. But, I will do the same as you and keep trying. :D
