I would love any information I can get on the subject.. What worked for you.. your success story.. even your failure story if that be the case. Bring it all on! Thanks Lala

hello
i was on south beach diet before but it didn't work for me because i was suffering from hypothyroidism and i didn't know then i tried so many kinds of diets also it didn't work for me until my weight increased more than 25 kilos BUT recently i found an excellent free site called sparkpeople it's really an amazing site. you'll find everything you need without paying a penny and the team are wonderful and help you always stay motivated and guess what i finally lost my first kilo :) and i am trying to stick with it.

I know that you started this two months ago, I am wondering if you had any luck with it?
In my first two months of weight watchers I lost 10lbs and was very proud of myself! I gained some of that back over the holidays and so I am now restarting weight watchers and hoping to lose another 20-30 pounds. It's kind of frustrating at times, because there are just so many things you have to decide "Is it worth the points to eat this?!" in a lot of cases its not worth it. I am glad there are flex points, because every other weekend I very much so have to use them

hi lala! i have been on all sorts of diets too. it's just that i lack discipline and commitment. i used to weigh only 94 lbs, but even then, i wasn't thin. i stand 4'10" so a little extra weight will really make me look stocky.
but i love food. i love to eat. according to my husband, i eat everything and everything is my favorite. and i eat big portions--i eat like a man. i eat any time of the day. oh how i wish i am like jughead, being able to eat and not gain weight.
anyway, i have 3 weeks to lose some 20 lbs...or even just 5 lbs...because it's my brother in law's engagement party and i would like to look good.
actually, i am not really mindful that i am fat, it's just that i have small legs and a heavy upper body so my knees and soles of the feet are feeling the brunt of the heaviness of my upper body. and yeah, i don't look good in clothes...hehehe
i dunno how to start this time. i have reduced my food intake but it doesn't seem to work. maybe i have to do something about my waste disposal system. lol
bless you! :-)

Lala, it is now three weeks since you posted this (I just signed up with mylot.com today) and I'm hoping that WW is going well for you.
I've done amazingly well with it over the past year (70 pounds down!!) and think that you'll find it an easy program to stay on - as long as you are committed.
The one thing that made the biggest difference for me was finding the right meeting to attend. We have the best leader with an amazing group who are all very supportive and helpful. Many of us have become friends outside of WW as well. Funny, you go there for your weight but friendships develop and it even becomes a better program than before!!
I've even started (last April) a weekly newsletter with all kinds of great ideas and inspriational articles as well. I get a lot of ideas from sparkpeople.com (they are GREAT!) and truly enjoy the experience.
Let us know how you are doing!!!
