what will you choose to be - smart or popular?

hello friends,
here is something for you to that will make you think about yourself.OK I'd like to hear what you have to say. So when you answer my question, you have to pick either one or the other. You can't sit on the fence and be in the middle, ok? So basically, you choose a side and tell me why you've chosen that side.

i think i'd prefer to be smart rather than to be popular. i don't want to be a dumb person always being chased by dumb fans. LOL i'd rather be a smart low profiler because i don't like too many eyes and attention on me. and i would like to know a lot and not being left behind about things. ^__^

hii secretbear i think that is one of me.you have the same thought as me.i am very much introvert and don't get along easily with people.so for me being smart is better than popular.otherwise it will be difficult for an introvert to survive here.LOL.

Hello there. Actually I want to be both. I think I am already quite smart (LOL sorry for being thick skinned). I am definitely not everyone's friend. The fact is we cannot please everyone. I do have many good and true friends though. =D
If I can ONLY choose ONE, I would choose to be everyone's friend. I am a sociable person by nature and I cannot bear not having friends.
Thank goodness in real life, we need to have to choose only one. We can be a bit of both. =D

This is an absoulte tricky question that really pts me in confusion.what i feel there is no separation between words smart and popular.ofcourse if you re talking about the negative popularity then i dont think you have to be smart,but one has to be cunning then.now tlking about the positive popularity,i think only smart people can be popular.atleast he/she ought to be smart in atleast one field so that they can be popular.without smartness,i really wonder how can one be popular.but another important thing to be noted is just smartness alone will never fetch you popularity,you ought to be creative and a bit lucky too.so if you ask me to chose among the two,i would better like to be smart and i think if i try hard,i can be popular and well known.

This is very easy for me. I would pick smart. I always did well in school and loved learning however my social skills were very lacking. I still keep to myself and don't socialize well with others. I enjoy learning new things and skills but not really hanging out with people. I am private in the "real world"

i appreciate your thoughts.and to some extent i agree with you also.because smart people always make their way and reach their goals.popularity isn't too far.
