What can you say about this. The Philippines house of representative was bomb last tuesday November 13,2007. Killed during the incident was a congressman and 2 other staffs, also wounded were several persons. This was done at the eve of the house hearing for president Arroyo's impeachment complain and the senates investigation on the distribution of half a million pesos during a breakfast meeting in the Malacanan Palace last month. Reports said that the Speaker House of Representatives received an intelligence report stating that a bomb will explode to target a certain Congressman, this actually pointed to Rep. Wahab Akbar of Mindanao. But didn't they alerted the proper authorities about the said "Threat"?? After that incident the Impeachment complaint was junk by the whole house. Is this incident related to the impeachemnt complaint and other mysteries surrounding the Philippine government?? Need your opinion regarding this guys, 'coz this not just happening in the Philippines, around the world governments are trying to control not just the way things must come up but the lives of innocent civilians. Please post your comments and opinions.

That is disturbing. On so many levels its disturbing. I'll have to look into this a bit further. But I already know there is more to this than the initial story. Your last sentence about the subject also needs more consideration. Governments do try to control the way things come up and the lives of the people. Some of it is to satisfy a power block or group of people, other parts of it is to expand the power of the government (and hence the power of the politicians themselves while in office). I'll also add, be careful and ever watchful of your surroundings and the government itself.
