Which Historical Person would you like to meet?

I think it would be someone from the ancient times....Alexander the Great, Hernán Cortés, Napoleón, Julius Caesar...someone like those.
I would like to feel all the epic in my own skin, even though obviously with time legend comes to play and things are exaggerated.
Which Historical person would you like to meet?

Hi LightninStrike! I really would like to see and meet Jesus Christ in flesh. I really want to see Him and listen to His teachings, hear His voice and just to be with Him and I guess, I want to be there when He was to be born in the manger because that is something very joyful for me. ok this was way more spiritual than i intended when i posted this discussion lol. Anyway, if Christ really existed, no doubt that i would like to meet him as wel.

Just like what Faith said, if given a chance still to meet an individual in history I would also love to chose meeting Jesus Christ in person where I could also see him face to face and listen to His sweet voice when I'm around Him...Wow! I can't even wait 'till the day I see him personally oneday in heaven :-)

I would most definitely love to meet Joan of Arc and Queen Elizabeth. Such women made history triumph over their own time. They are very strong women who overcame lots of obstacles considering that women during their times were regarded as dimwits.

Thank you for sharing cd (as always). I'd love to meet Joan of Arc too, as with the Queen, well don't know...i prefer Joan lol.

I would like to meet Jesus and Ben Franklin. I know that I will someday meet Jesus in heaven but I would like to meet him while I am still on earth.
I also think that Ben Franklin would be a fascinating person to meet as he did so many things. Did you know that he started the first library? He done so much more than discover electricity.

Oh there are so many people I would liek to meet in real. Such as Diana, Maria Terezia, Napoleon, Bach, Picasso, ...if I will tell all, I will be here forever.But anyway i think it will be just great to meet someone like that and have a little discussion with them, what was there personality like and how they lived.How you say we can read the books about them or watch the movie, but it is not the same liek in real.

it's not the same to read than to live it up by yourself, but at least we approach ourselves to knowing how those great historical figures were.

From the ancient times..... hmmmm.... Leonidas. He was a brave Spartan who stood their ground against the advancing Persian conquerors... Really brave of him, commanding only 300 Spartans to protect Glorious Greece at that time. Never have I admired such a brave King in the Hellenistic history.

probably no one famous, but i would like to meet just average people. a nurse that worked in the hospital following pearl harbour, someone that survived the sinking of the titanic, perhaps a soldier from the american civil war...
tales are told by the people that take part in history.
