Have you ever knit with a loom?

i have never knitted with a set of looms but my sister uses looms to knit she makes it looks so much easier than kitting with plain old straight needles i think knitting with looms helps to keep your yarn more organized than having all your stitches crammed on your needles but i prefer using needles over looms to knit with the looms that my sister have are both rectangular and circular shaped the circle looms make knitting things like hats and beanies much easier i think knitting with looms is faster than knitting with needles also or maybe it is just because she is just so good haha

They are very easy to use, its basically the same as using a knitting nancy which your probably did as a child, but they are much slower to work with than knitting on a number of needles. Some people do manage to make lovely things with them though.

I don't know much about them, but I just looked them up... wow, the ones I saw are expensive. It looks to me as if you'd be limited in what you can make with them, but maybe not.
