I have experienced caesarian delivery to my daughter who is now 2 years old. Its hard and really painful. I need to stay in the hospital for 4 days due to my operation and was not able to move well for another week. It also leaves mark on my tummy so I put creams to lighten it. My OB advised me that it would be better to have our next baby after 2-3 years coz I still need to heal my operation. Also, I am only allowed to have 3-4 babies. But its fine with us coz we only want to have 2 or 3 children so that we can focus on them and provide them their needs. Its hard to have many children nowadays.
How about you? What can you share about your delivery?

Yes of course. Almost all of us want a normal delivery but due to some circumstances, this is not possible for other women like myself..=)

My son was a scheduled c-section. It was scheduled because my son was in breech position. Mine went good, I didn't have any complications and was up and walking 12 hours later. He was born on a Monday and I came home on Wednesday. the only issue I had was that my son's dad kept making me laugh. That was painful. Of course, the morphine made everything even funnier.

I've had 4 c-sections. In June 2000, October 2001, November 2002 and April 2006 (they are 7, 6, 5 and 19 months now).
They weren't that bad. My last recovery was the worst because I had a slight uterine infection which left me in a lot of pain compared to the other 3. With the other 3 I felt pretty good after the first week and was better after about 3 weeks. With the last one I was in pain for month and it sucked. I still cooked Easter dinner a week after the surgery, though. Some days I think I might want to have one more. I really wanted another boy last time. But we got a girl. We have 3 girls and just one boy now and I really want another boy. My luck, though, would get me another girl. Not sure I could deal with 4 daughters. And then my poor son--he has 1 older sister and 2 younger sisters already. I'm not sure he could handle another one.

I have 4 children. I had one miscarriage. the first pregnancy i did have an epidural but it was only moments before the birth and because I begged for it after telling them to under no circumstanses give me anything. All the rest were entirely natural. 2 were born early and both were very healthy. I guess I lucked out.

I also underwent caesarian operation. And because of this that as much as possible, i still don't wanna get pregnant again, though i have strong desire to have another child...but not in 3-4 years as my boy is still 4 years old. Giving birth through caesarian delivery is costs a tens of thousands already, so better yet just a child or two is practical.

I also had a caesarian delivery. Also known as "c" section. And than 5 days in the hospital for recovery. I think the worse was when I came home though. It was so upsetting to me because I wanted to do everything for my newborn but was not able to. Like the 4 am bottle. By 4am sleeping and than waking up I was so stiff and in so much pain that I could not move to get him. I had to call for my mom to pick him up and hand him to me and have her get his bottle ready (dad wasn;t in the picture) thank goodness for mom. I was told that its impossible for me to have a natural child birth so this has totally deterred me from wanting anymore kids. I do not want to feel so helpless again. Not to mention have all that pain for so long. Like not even being able to push a vacuum for like 5 weeks because doing it before than put me right back in pain.

Yes exactly you cannot do anything you want after the c-section operation. It will takes time to heal. Thanks to my husband and nanny who are always there to help and support me. I don't know what to do without them...=)
