I love to eat strawberries as they are nice and sweet. I enjoy eating raspberries because they are juicy and delicious. I think the grapefruits have a lovely slightly bitter taste. I like the taste of lemons and limes as they are so very juicy but they both have quite a sharp sort of taste. Bananas have a lovely flavor and are quite filling to eat. An exotic type of fruit I like is passion fruit as they have such a sharp but delicious taste.
Which are your favorite fruits. Why?
Do you eat five portions of fruit and vegetables a day?
Where do you buy fruit from? A supermarket, corner shop, greengrocers or a market

Fruits are the things which are supposed to be eaten by other animals which are basically vegetarian in nature so that the seeds in them are dispersed for the purpose of propagation of their own species! For that the trees or plants make these fruits so attractive, aromatic and tasty which in turn requires lot of elements thus making a fruit utmost nutritious one! Thus there is no second opinion about it that fruits are very good source of food and they are very good for health !The fruit flesh of a ripe mango contains about 15% sugar, up to 1% protein, and significant amounts of vitamins A, B and C. It is very sweet, with a unique taste. The texture of the flesh varies; some have quite a soft and pulpy texture similar to an over-ripe plum, while others have a firmer flesh much like that of a cantaloupe or avocado, and in some the flesh can contain fibrous material. Mangoes are very juicy; the sweet taste and high water content make them refreshing to eat, though somewhat messy.

To be honest I eat more than five fruits a day, probably why I am so regular! I love fruits, my favourite is a nice crispy Braeburn from the UK, I hate soft apples, they have to be really crisps. I also love conference pears. I get all my fruit cheaply of stalls in the town, big scoops of apples for £1 and if it's at the end of the day they are practically throwing the fruit at you for next to nothing!

It is great that you eat so much fruit. Yes, pears can be delicious. Buying from street stalls is an excellent way to save money. I have seen the prices get incredibly cheap at the end of the day. When I was a teenager we used to get unwanted greens for our pet rabbits. Much good produce in the way of fruit and vegetables is thrown out if nobody buys it.

Hello dear maximax. My favorite fruits are apples, bananas, peaches, oranges and strawberries. But my stomach does not agree with apples and bananas, which get bothered after eating them. Most of the time, I drink fruit juice instead and it is ok for my stomach without being bothered. Thanks for your discussion, dear friend. Good day.

Hello, my dear friend williamjisir. It is a shame that you get a stomach ache after eating apples and bananas. I went to an early Christmas party this weekend. I ate some lovely fruits there like grapes, strawberries, kiwi fruit and cherries. There were a few tropical fruits that I have not tried before, one of these tasted nice. Have a lovely day.

Hi there, i do like strawberry juice, too. But, I can't find any raspberries around here. I'm for Jakarta, Indonesia. There's only syrup with raspberries flavored sold in many supermarket. I usually buy strawberry from the traditional market not far from my house, only on the weekend.
What is passion fruit? what is it looks like?

Passion fruit is a small fruit with a pinkish brown outside. It can be cut in half with a knife. Inside is juicy seeds, juice and moist fruity bits. The whole inside can be eaten. It is grown in topical countries like Kenya. I ate it when I was in Indonesia so I imagine in is grown there too.

Probably my favourite fruit is apple. But I love bananas, peaches, nectarines, strawberries & passionfruit too. At he moment I mainly buy bananas & apples, as they are the cheapest.
We have seven fruit trees, but the dogs & birds get most of the fruit.
I usually only eat one fruit every day.
I buy all my fruit from the supermarket.

Bananas are cheap to buy in my country too. I don't like apples very much. Peaches can be lovely once they go a bit soft. Strawberries are only cheap to buy during the summer time. Passion fruit is exported over here and is expensive all year round.

I am very sad to read this post. I love fruit very much but, this is one of the most horrible things about this diet I am on I cannot eat many fruits eventually I will be able to eat some, but not at the moment I started back on it yesterday and still haven't got into the swing of things. There are so many foods I am going to miss and fruit is one of them.
There are many who are against the diet I am on, but I have only lost weight on this diet it is the one that worked for me and a few weeks before Christmas I slipped into my old ways of eating sweets, chocolate, crisps and pop corn basically anything that was sweet and sugary. I am now back on the Atkins and although you are allowed fruit like certain types of melon you cannot have very sweet fruit that I like, like apples, strawberries and pineapple. I miss that and I like you love banana's.
When I go through the 4 stages of Atkins I will be able to eat more fruit, but not till then sadly. There are so many foods I miss on The Atkins.

My favourite fruits are strawberries and bananas. But generally I like all kinds of fruit. During the day I eat fruit after lunch or after dinner. If I'm hungry during the day, I like to eat fruit. I buy it in the market, so it's very good.

I have never been a great fruit eater, but try to eat some everyday. There are some exotic fruits here in Thailand, the most popular with the locals is durian, a foul smelling fruit when you're preparing it but very delicious to eat.
I like pineapples, which are extremely cheap. bananas and oranges. However the only oranges worth eating are those imported from Australia, and there very expensive. Oh, and of course when strawberries are in season ...yum...yum!

I have traveled in South East Asia and seen notices in accommodation saying not to open a durian there. Yes, I have this is because it smells so terrible. But it is meant to taste really lovely. I like to eat tiny oranges imported from Italy. I guess that Australia imports some great but expensive things.

I like grapes, apples, oranges, and bananas. I also love lemons and I eat them all the time. I buy my fruits from the grocery store and sometimes from farmer's markets. Nothing beats fresh squeezed orange juice either and I've gotten into squeezing my own oranges when I have them available. I guess my favorite fruits are citrus fruits.

WoW... I enjoy having each and every fruit. All fruits are very good for health. One should make a habit of having a regular diet of seasonal and available fruits.
