Ever since i started owning a cell phone, I remember to have own several numbers/ sim cards. My first sim card lasted for two years, then I had it swapped for a better memory sim card. Then, after a year I changed my number because I went postpaid. The following year, I have to change it because my former office issued me a phone line, and I acquired a prepaid sim. After I left the office, I gave up the unit, and for two years now, I still have my prepaid sim card, and I have another postpaid line for me to contact my brothers right away. So all in all in all was able to own 6 sims, two of which are still working.
So how many sets of mobile numbers/ or sim cards were you able to own? What were the reasons why you have changed? Did you lose the phone? Or Did you just change because you feel like changing or merely because you have been avoiding someone? Share your story.

I have been collecting sim cards ever since I owned a cell phone. Whenever I travel, I buy the local prepaid sim card. Its cheaper than have your Philippine Sim card go roaming.(I paid Php6,500 for 2 weeks roaming on Sun cellular) So aside from my Globe, Smart, Sun, TM, TnT, I also have CSL,Three(Hutchison Mobile) and Smart1528 from Hong Kong,SmartTone from Macau, Smart Pinoy and Singtel from Singapore, Digi and Maxis from Malaysia, Optus from Australia. Some are roaming and used to work even when I am already several months in the Philippines.

I used to have two sim cards back then, two of those prime communications company we have here in our country. I'm really into the "texting-mania" for a while, just like what the promo says, "The more you text the more chances of Winning" fever!LoL
But now, I only get to use my cellphone for important things. I have lost interest in it, since I realized that it's only a waste of time and money. I have lost a phone back then, I changed my SIM and it is the only one I use. Not because I'm avoiding someone or for what so ever reasons, I know that some of them has changed their SIM because they are the one's who's avoiding me(?).. LoL
I've decided to stick with the first brand I used before, which is Smart!;)

Hahaha. They have changed sims because of you. Cool. :) During the first few years of text-mania I was so addicted with my phone. But things are different now. :) I mean, I can leave my cell anytime. No more attachments eh.

I used to have a prepaid SIM card, then later changed to a postpaid one when it got quite hard to procure prepaid cards (autoloads/eloads were not available that time). I used to maintain a prepaid SIM from another network but I tend to forget when to re-load. Now, I only maintain just one postpaid SIM, no more prepaid ones.

My sun is post paid. Since, it's a group plan, i tend to be cut off. Thus, I still am maintaining my prepaid sim. Thank you for sharing. :)

I have so far only 1. I started with cingular but found that it was expensive and had terrible service. Then when it changed to AT&T i changed my service to Verizon. I decided that i liked the service and phones more.
