Mature content ... who decides which is which?

I'm a little curious about the mature content ratings. I've never actually figured something out. Who tags these discussions as mature content constantly, is it just random users or does mylot admin make a habit of tagging subjects as mature if they see them that way?
I wasn't confused about this until a few minutes ago when someone added a 'mature content' tag to my discussion about parenting. I'm trying to figure out how talking about what our children will be when they grow up is of mature content, lol.

Certain words just automatically cause the tag. Sometimes it makes sense other times it doesn't. I'll pop over to your other discussion and see if I can figure out which word caused it.

I didn't notice it when I referred to my daughter as a hellraiser, but it might have popped up without me noticing. Ah well ... just glad I know it's key words that send it off now. I was a little confused when I saw it show up in a parenting discussion, lol.
Thanks again!

Well that is something I've wondered. At least I have confirmation its auto triggered by certain words. In other cases Cin, it is a troll doing it to normal threads just to be a jerk. It's happened to yours truly. If it was a troll, I think there was one instance an inappropriate mature content was removed (not too sure, but I think I saw it in one of my earlier threads). If that's the case then eventually better tags can come from other members to replace it. Then again, I could just be having another senile moment.
