Did you are any of your family members ever sale Tupperware? Back in the early eighties, three of my aunts were selling Tupperware. I was living with one of them. I am so glad that they upgraded. Especially, those colors. There was green, brown, yellow, and orange. Tupperware was different from anything else of it's kind and it was the best, save the colors. You couldn't pay someone to tear that stuff up. I haven't really got the chance to use the new stuff, but I believe that it is sold online. When I get my own place, I will start buying it for cooking for myself and family.

Rozie there are still tupperware salepeople out there that come to your home to give tupperware parties. I do love tupperware also and have several pieces. I love the salad spinner. I love that when I wash my lettuce and spin the excess water off of it the lettuce will not rust so fast and stays crisp in the bowle longer. Storing tupperware has alway and remains the biggest problem. They do have a new set of bowles that clappses down flat and sits on top of each other. I have a set of them. The thing I dislike is trying to put them into shape again. I have to put them over a can of veggies to get them upright. Oh well we can't have our flat bowles that fit in the cupboards and eat soup out of them easily too.

I collect a lot of different things, including tupperware containers. Why? the rest of my collections need to be put away safely! lol.

I love Tupperware...the old stuff and the new ones. No one in my family ever sold it but my mom and grandma bought a lot before I was born. I inherited a few pieces that are still as good as ever. I just saw someone selling some at a Holiday Bazaar...they have a lot of neat pieces...some look like fancy glassware and the kids stuff is adorable.

Growing up my mother had tons of tupperware. I can still see those mustard yellow and avocado green canisters. Oh, and the orange starburst bowls. We used that stuff until it was starting to wear out. And the best part, tupperware comes wtih a lifetime warranty. If a piece gets worn out or broken, they replace it with the same item or something similiar. My mom still has tupperware. When I moved out, I gave a tupperware party for a friend of mine who starting to sell it. I ended up buying a ton of it. I use it all the time. I even buy vintage pieces at garage sales and online. Tupperware is the best thing ever created. I use it every single day.

You can lose it, burn it, or lend it out. That is the only way to get of the stuff.

I sold some. Had a party once and sold like about over $226 in orders. I didn't want to get into it, but I did it for a minute. I loved their stuff. don't know where they are now since we're talking about over twenty years ago here. but durable stuff. BTW, nice picture.

Girl, Tupperware has a whole new line with beautiful colors and everything. You can buy to online and everywhere. You probably just don't recognize the new colors. Try Tupperware.com and see what comes up.

Hi Rozie37! An aunt of mine became one of the sales agent of Tupperware 10-15 years ago, not exactly sure about the date. I remember the tupperware parties that she usually have and it was fun and until now Tupperware products are really durable and have stood the test of time. Take care and have a nice day. :)

I love tupperware too. I sold it very briefly before discovering that I'm simply not a good sales person. My advice to you would be to sell it for a short time. You get a starter kit that's yours to keep and it has quite a bit in it. If nothing more than the starter kit, it's worth it. You also get some serious discounts on the stuff when you sell it, so that also makes it worth it. If you are a good sales person, Tupperware is an excellent opportunity to make some extra money and can even develop into a career. I knew people when I sold it that were making BANK on that stuff. They have excellent rewards programs and some of their sales people can even earn vehicles. You really might want to check into it.

People say that I can be very convincing. But, to be honest, I couldn't sell water in the desert. I do not have that kind of gift for gab.

I absolutely love Tupperware! I still use several pieces that I bought when I was in the Philippines, took them with me to Lagos, Nigeria when we were working for the UN, then transported them to Toronto, Canada when we moved here in 1981. I have since bought more--they last forever, you can't get rid of them, LOL!!! Oh, BTW my son has two toys I bought from Tupperware (the plastic ball with shapes for holes that you can fit the corresponding blocks, and a graduated donut ring toss)--that was 29 years ago and they are still serviceable. Amazing, amazing brand/products!

I love Tupperware! I had several friends through the years who sold it and back when I was younger there was always a Tupperware party going on, we just kept on cycling through year after year. It's a bit expensive but it last literally forever! I'm glad they have nicer colors now, too, but back in the "old days" everything came in more drab looking colors for the kitchen as I remember.
