What is important, to be loved by someone or loving someone?

Keep loving someone sincerely. There are chances you will be loved. The reciprocal arrangements work on absolute sincerity of purpoose.

i think they are both important, it would be pretty horrible to not have love in your life, giving or receiving.

I think that if you practice loving others in general then there is no greater reward. You have to give of yourself expecting nothing in return, this can be painful if you are not focused on the end result...making a difference in someone else's life.
