Is it Success or is it Satisfaction?
Confused!
Anyways, what is the difference between the two?
You may say they are one and the same thing.
No……..they are two different measures of life, having different measuring units and devices.
Success is decided by the society we live in. It is governed by the rules of the family, culture, clan, society and the likes. We may be given the status of being successful at a place or by a group of people but may not be successful at some other place, or for some other group.
Satisfaction, on the other hand is in our own hands. The parameters (though sometimes influenced by the people around) are in our hands. We set our own goals and get satisfaction from the results or even our efforts. Satisfaction is in our hands.
Success and satisfaction do not always go hand in hand.
All successful people may not be satisfied with their life; and all satisfied people may not be successful in their life!.
Think about it!
We tend to forget the difference between the two and so start measuring our satisfaction in terms of success which is never attained fully.
Now tell me what is more important for u?

But the bottom line is...which pays the bills? If you tell your landlord you can't pay rent this month, but you are satisfied, will he waive your rent? Will the checker at the grocery store scan your satisfied smile as payment for the groceries? It's kind of like "sucess is in the eye of the beholder".

satisfaction is what u need.
but satisfaction doesnt come without success.. so...
aim for success to get satisfaction.

satisfaction more important than success, in my opinion. although we should see it in different view. when we get satisfaction although other didn't say that its success, we will still feel glad to do it and having "spirit" in it. it will be much different if we only having success without satisfaction. its right that we will proud about it and happy but i dont think so it will be forever. few times after it, we will be feel so boring and have no "spirit" to do it in daily

Can you be sucessful without being satisfied? Or can you be satisfied without being sucessful? I think those are the questions it all boils down to and it depends on the person and what they are looking for in life. I am not sucessful at all - work so dang hard at it but never make it. Am I satisfied with that. No, but nothing else I can do about it. Am I satisfied without being sucessful? Yes and no. I love my kids nad have a wonderful relationship with them and all is good (sucessful) there, but struggle constantly on the income/finance level so no, I am not satisfied with that. I think to much is put on these kinds of things that people work so hard to figure them out that they miss being either - sucessful or satisfied. Can you be one without the other? Seems to me to be satisfied, you've gotten that way because you were sucessfull at whatever you did in life to be satisfied about. If you are sucessful, somewhere along the way you were satisfied with something and just kept doing that unti you suceeded. Think I'll just go back to working on it instead of trying to decipher which is best!!

Satisfaction for sure. You can have success but that doesn't always mean that you will be satisfied.

hello, maapav!!well,the difference between success and satisfaction is that the former can be measured but other can't be measured.but both go together. success will follow satisfaction.suppose, u came out successful in an examination, u are satisfied with the result.but can u be satisfied before publication of the result .likewise, suppose u failed to come out successful will u be satisfied with the result.to me it sounds well:first success then automatically i will be satisfied. thanks a lot and be satisfied.

I look at success as an outer thing, a measure of things I have done in my life where satisfaction is my inner feeling about my life, I would much prefer to have inner satisfaction than outer success as I feel with inner satisfaction I am happy in my overall self.

Satisfaction!
I think satisfaction is more important than success.
I'm not rich, not clever, not beautiful, but now I can eat my fill, I do my work well, my boyfriend say i am beautiful. It's enough. My boyfriend and i live happily. It's satisfaction.
Then, with satisfaction, we try our best to get success.

No question about it, satisfaction is more important. What do you gain with success? Most of the time it is worldly goods and status. This is earthly goods and will not help you much when you pass. I would instead whether focus my life on being happy and satified instead of struggling to be success and most liekly be unhappy and stressed in the process.

......for me is to be success....my dreams is so big.....but nothing is possible.....i believe that my dreams will come true....i do if what i want to do in my life to be successful....but god has plan for us....you must satisfied if what HE give to you....life is mystery.....you don't know the next happening in your life......be ready....and be thankful to here in earth....:)

Always Satisfaction and i always know that im doing the right thing or having some fun on what i am doing .. because success always follows satisfaction.. if you are not satisfied in what you do then the answer is already in front of you..

i really think that there is a great difference between success and satisfaction because success is the resulting of many effort and satisfaction is just a feeling after doing something.you can succeed without getting satisfaction
