Favorite CD of the year?

As well all know the year is coming to a end soon, and i would say for the most part, the huge music releases have already made their way out onto retail store shelves(if not, you've probably heard them illegally online, right ;) ) Anyway, while the market seems to just be in a downward spiral sales-wise, I think there were at least a couple good solid albums released this year. I Admit though, there hasn't been nothing that has blown me away, and looking at the top artist this year such as Akon and other one hit rappers it's kinda saddening. So...What do you consider to be your favorite album of the year? And the runner-up? What did you think of the majority of releases this year? have you paid attention to "music" this year? Ohh. And Happy Holiday. It's time to crank out those Holiday tunes soon. :)
