Today as we feed our families, love on our relatives, Let us remember that some man or woman in the armed forces is fighting in order that we remain alive and free. If you believe in the sacrifice they are making then tell the world you are thankful

I imagine the American troops in Iraq and Aphganistan, trying to bring peace to a very ungrateful population, I imagine Ugandan troops, trying to pacify the Somalis alone while most African countries which had pledged to go and put order in Somalia have grown cold feet, I feel for the Ethiopian troops, dying in Somalia so that the Somalis may taste peace, I feel for all the Women and men of the world in armed uniforms, trying to bring sanity in Dafur, I ask myself, why are they sacrificing so much? Before answers come from the blue, I know myself that these are very selfless human beings determined to bring peace where peace would never be without their efforts. I respect the men and women in the armed forces because they know they have a duty to die to save the world from greater evil.To all of them I want to say, Thank you!

I always keep these guys in my mind. It's important that we do. Many are alone and some don't even have families back home. I know that they do celebrate the holidays over there and try to make the best of it. My husband said they had pretty decent food, but he really is homesick right now. Thanks for posting this!
