Is there one specific thing that you like about birds or do you love all the interesting things they do? I enjoy listening to the different sounds they make as well as how they behave around other birds. Sometimes I will see a house finch chase another house finch around my hopper feeder. Some birds will go to the feeder and grab a seed and fly back to the trees to eat it and keep going back and forth. I like all the different colors of the birds and how some birds change colors during different seasons. Mourning doves are always outside in pairs and very rarely alone.

The first thing I like about birds is that Jesus told us that the birds to work yet His Heavenly Father takes care of them.
I love how free they are in spirit and that they have such beautiful songs .

Hi Joy. I love their singing and all the different sounds of the various birds. I am starting to see some new birds in my yard and feeder as well as the ones that come regularly. They have some interesting habits and behaviors as well. They are definitely very free and hope God is happy that I am trying to help them.

I like birds too, we get allsorts in our back garden, I just sit on the veradah and watch them all.
There seems to be such a variety of birds here in Australia, we get the wild parrots down to the tiny sparrows.
I used to have a rainbow lorikeet, which is a smaller type of parrot, I taught him to talk, he was beautiful.
I didn't like to keep him in a small cage so I gave him to someone with another rainbow lorikeet who had an avairy, he loves it there and I can go see him any time I want too.

I like watching birds jumping up and down among the vegetable plants searching for food at my courtyard. They turn their heads right and left, up and down, to aware of cat or others while looking for food. Any sound will scare them to fly back to the top of the fence. There are parrots with beautiful green and blue feathers eating the start fruits on the trees beside my house. I feel pity to see those birds that are kept in the cages as they have lost their precious freedom totally though they provided with food.

It is interesting watching them search for food and how they will chase other birds away from the food so they can eat. Anytime there is a cat or dog in the yard they will fly away or if there is nearby noises or people. Birds should not be kept in cages I feel too.

I like watching birds interact with other birds. I also like seeing birds in parking lots and watching them hop around looking for food. My husband's cousin has some beautiful doves that I got to see on Thursday. I had never seen such pretty doves. Their coloration was very unique.

I agree that it is interesting to see how they interact with other birds. I always see the male and female cardinals together, never alone. Same with other types of birds. It is interesting that there are many different types of birds all over the world, some that I will see and many that I may never see. Doves are very pretty.

Definitely the different colors and types. Also how they conduct themselves is pretty interesting too. The symbolism is another factor in what I like most about plenty of birds!

I too love the different colors and types of birds. Some birds change colors during various seasons and enjoy the various types of birds that live in the area or are flying through. It is interesting to watch them and how they behave around other birds and animals.

I love the serenity of watching birds gracefully flying through the air and congretating on telephone wires. It always facinates me how they get the spacing perfect while landing in a row and how they are not electrocuted while perched on that wire. Birds are intriguing. We have feeders in our yard as well and enjoy just sitting and watching to see what birds will come to feast there.

Hello Ken! Hope you are doing well.
I enjoy watching the birds while they are at the feeders. We use a blend of seed for the different birds. We also hang suet. It is relaxing to watch them as they come to feed.

We have two parakeets in the cage. We love to hear them sing. When we first got them, they hardly ever sang but now they sing all the time.
I love outdoor bird for their singing also. We feed the outside birds. As a result, we have alot of birds in our yard.

I think birds have fascinated mankind since year one..perhaps because they can fly? Who knows? I haven't a clue why I love birds, but I do and perhaps the largest collection of photos I have are birds..thousands of them. Also, they are probably one of the few species that have such a diversity in color, sound, size. They can be as delicate as a hummingbird or as menacing as an Ostrich. Back in the 1980s I actually took two home study courses from the Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology...Bird Photography and Bird Biology
