How do you Mylot?

I usually log in, and then check if anyone has responded to my previous discussions. I add comments to their responses, rate the comments, choose best responses, and move on to discussions I have responded to, and check if anyone has added a comment to my response. I then see what sort of discussions my friends have posted. I respond to a few that catch my interest, and then begins the most interesting part of mylotting for me. I click on that options 'discussion with no responses'. It is great fun being the first to respond to a discussion, and I get real interesting ones there. Then I move on to the options 'recent discussions'. I guess it is a childish (or childlike?) need in me to be the first to do post a response. Then is the time to start discussions of my own. Some of them get a response in just one second, and I waste no time adding a comment. It's really great, and I enjoy the writing I do over here. How would you describe your Mylotting process? Wishing you all happy mylotting....

I check PMs first if any. Then I try friends list. Other times I look at things I responded to because I want to check if anyone responded to me there. If I think of it I check my own discussions but usually top discussions.

I go to my email and first read all the responses I get to my discussions. I rate all the ones I can with a positive rating. If I can't rate it positive I don't rate it at all. I don't want to rate anyone with a negative or abuse, this is not why I am here. I am here to just have fun. If i have something to add to their response I will comment, but if nothing more to add I don't. I then go back to my email and read the comments to my responses. If I can I rate them and comment back again. I then go back to my email and post responses to the discussions my friends started. When I'm finished all of those and I still have time I will go to the same link as you, discussions with no responses. I usually have to read through about 10 pages till I find a discussion I have something to add to. I can see why most of them have no responses. Some of them are pretty bad. If I want to do more, I search out topics of my interesst either from my interests or from the search link at top. This probably takes me a whole day to do, about 8 hours. Of course, I do some offline things inbetween or I would never be able to move again, my back and neck would get so sore.

Thanks for your interesting response. Regarding 'discussions with no responses' you are right! I too have had the same experience as you have. Around 80 per cent, I guess, are real bad and you just can't respond to them. I simply don't do ten pages. I just skim through the first two or three and respond to around four or five real good ones. Then I try the 'new user discussions' too!

Now I haven't been here on mylot in a while, and only pop in when I can, due to time restrictions - too busy doing other things. Now all I usually do is go into recent discussions or brand new discussions and to discussions I have created myself. It's a pretty dull mylot career - yours looks more exciting! :D

Thanks for your response, my friend. Yup, I do find Mylotting fun, but I too hardly get the time to post. I dunno how I manage. Sometimes, I log in just to peep into the site. :)
