So now I cant for the life of me remember. I know it will come to me but not untill later or maybe not.LOL I guess this comes with age. Just as long as I remember it then its okay!LOL Does this happen to you? Or am I just nuts? Be care when answering that last one!LOL

yes, i do. i hate it and it happens so often, it's actually quite frustrating, it helsp to write things down on paper or on a post-it note as a personal reminder that way you are forced to be reminded.

If you're nuts that makes two of us!
I seem to only get good ideas when I'm away from my computer and doing something where it is impossible to stop and write down my idea. Maybe I'm under the shower or driving or something similar. Now I'm here while in the reception of the hotel where I do the evening shift some weekends. It's quite slack and I could write about ALL those things Ithought about during the week - but where have those ideas hidden themselves inside that grey stuff in my head???

Happens all the time... I'll be walking in the morning and get a great idea and think I wont forget it because it's such a great discussion. But when I get home it's totally gone. I feel like I should take a pen and paper with me to jot it down!!!

I honestly believe that if anyone says "I have never forgotten anything".. They lie and you should not believe anything they say. LOL

Yep, this has happened to me as well, so if you're nuts then I am too! :P LOL Of course each time this would happen I'd be away from the PC and I had no way to write down the discussion I wanted to start. I would try my best to remember what I wanted to say by memory alone, but almost always fail at doing this. Maybe it comes with age, or maybe just maybe it's because I get caught up with other things (like housework, kids, my husband :P) and I forget about the discussion I wanted to start. By the time I realize I wanted to start one, it's too late because I would have already forgotten what I wanted to say. :P LOL

Hi Terry,
Don't even get me started on this issue lol. I have done that so many times. I'd be doing something, think of a great discussion, and then forget when I had the time and got to the computer. Here's an idea if it's really getting to you ... Stop what your doing when the discussion pops into your head, write it down, then go back to what your doing, and then when you have time and come online to MyLot you'll have the discussion!
Luv & Hugzz, PurpleTeddyBear.

Hi nutcase...LOL. Nope, it's not just you, but with me it didn't have to do with a great discussion idea, but an article. About a week ago, I went to bed, and I'm starting to drift off. Then bingo, I got a great idea for an article to write for Associated Content. It was such a powerful idea that I figured I'd remember it when I got up later so I didn't jot down what the idea was. Next morning I wake up, and.......couldn't for the life of me remember that wonderful idea..STILL can't..It's driving me bonkers no end!

Ah, happens to me the all the time, it's completely maddening, isn't it? I've done that at LEAST five times since I joined, maybe I should carry a little notebook around with me, just in case I ever think up a good discussion, but can't tear myself away from the dusting?
The sad thing is, I probably WILL do this, from now on.

Yep it happens. There've been several times I forget about a mylot discussion while doing things around my place. Luckily for me the tide seems to be turning, and I'm turning those endeavors into their own discussions. So its not all bad.

Hi,there! I also forget about things but not much. I used to have very good memory when I was young.I really find that I'm not that good now. I don't the reason exactly but I don't think it's because of my age. Maybe I just didn't pay much attention to it at the time that I should remember the things. I can't tell it exactly. But I think for everyone of us,we should pay more attention to the things that are important to us so that we can remember better and not easy to forget:) Thanks,Terry. Enjoy your day^_^

I sometimes have a good idea on mind, but as soon as I get to the computer, my mind goes blank. I decided to write it in my mini note book and that does help. I think that happens to everyone because other things fill their minds and unconsciously they are thinking, "well can I write that?" or 'how can I write this so the responses or my post is long enough to get an intelligent response?"
And quit with the LOLs. If you happen to get Alzheimer's, and God forbid that you do, you will no longer be laughing.

Oh lord yes. I am an adult add. So my mind has a natural tendency to bounce all over the place. The solution for me is that I tend to keep alot of lists. Things done, not done, to be done that kind of stuff. It helps alot

I forget stuff all the time.
I don't think it necessarily comes with age.
I think that age just becomes an acceptable reason.
Not sure why, but when you're young and you forget stuff, people just see you as a flake, or irresponsible. Once we get older then we get to blame it on age.
I've been waiting my whole life to be able to blame my forgetfulness on age! lol
I'm 40 now. Am I old enough to use that excuse yet??

Helllo TerryZ. You are not the only one, who forgets things. hehe. I am included as well. Sometimes I find that I am very forgettable about things, even to the names of my colleagues and students when we don't stay with each other for quite some time. I think that my memory is becoming worse when I am getting older. Thanks for your discussion, dear friend.
