My criteria is that a piece of clothing must be stylish, the colour must suit me and must be comfortable.
Other than that things that I like are the fabric to feel nice, quality is important but also not too expensive unless I am really treating myself. I also like the clothing to be a little unique, not too way out but I don't want to see everyone wearing the same outfit as me!

I seem to always opt for natural fibers. Cotton, linen, silk, rayon are my favorites. I will use denim and some wool in the winter. The biggest point is that it has to be comfortable and well woven. I always hold up the fabric before I buy it, if there is too much space between the warp and weft then I don't buy the fabric as it won't wear well. I'd rather pay a bit more for the fabric and have it wear well than get it cheap and have it turn into a rag when I wash it for the first time.

I'd go for comfort. It's a very good feeling wearing something that fits you perfectly rather than a dashing, flashy branded shirt which makes me very uncomfortable. It all boils down to preferences though.

Unfortunately price has a massive bearing on what I buy. I'm pretty bad with money, so when it comes to clothes shopping I have to try to keep the costs down. There are so many super cheap highstreet stores in the UK at the moment that I don't necessarily have to sacrifice style, but the quality is never so good. I tend to buy clothes for a season and then throw them as they don't last much longer than that! I'd love to be able to splash out on great natural fabrics instead of all the lovely man-made ones I keep wearing at the moment!
