Why does My lot pay so much money?

Have you ever wondered why we get paid so much at My Lot for posting? I know it's popular to complain about the low pay here at My Lot. But, lets face it. My Lot is not an actual job. It's more of a past time. And, if you really work at it, you can have some nice pin money. Or, is that pen money. I guess if you're a writer, then you'd say, pen money. For everyone else, My Lot is just fun money. Sometimes I've earned from one cent to five cents for a discussion or reply posted. Most times replies posted pay less. But, then again, they don't take as much effort or follow up, as an original discussion. So, you can post more. From personal experience I've found that it's possible to earn enough money by posting discussions and responses to pay one big bill every month. So, far I've paid my car insurance bill ($75), domain fees ($20) and broadband bill ($22) with monthly My Lot earnings. Just depends on how much time I put into posting. Being a stay at home mom/work at home mom it's easier to find bits of time during the day to post. Anyway, back to my original question. Why do we make so much money on My Lot? I've posted at other sites that only pay one half cent per post. Supposedly, they don't have the same stringent post quality guidelines, but the pay is still way low. Why do you think My Lot pays us so much money per post? Are they really making enough money to be able to support so many posting members? Or, should other paid to post sites simply stop being so greedy and start paying more? What's your opinion on this?
