Hi & Hello, sag777.
"Fight Club"
I think the one in the movie directed by David Fincher is better than the one written in the novel by Chuck Palahniuk.
Fight Club was a screen adaptation of Chuck Palahniuk's novel of the same name about an insomniac office worker who opens up a club devoted exclusively to bare knuckle fighting for males.
Featuring Edward Norton, Helena Bonham Carter, and Se7en collaborator Brad Pitt, the 1999 film was easily one of the most publicized of the year but was an early disappointment at the box-office and received mixed reviews. Fight Club was panned by several critics and alienated audiences leading to its box office failure in the United States.
However many critics and audiences later had a change of heart and the film appeared on many 'best of the year' lists and soon developed a following.
Entertainment Weekly, which had originally given the film a negative grade of D, later ranked the DVD No. 1 on its list of "The Top 50 DVDs You Need To Own."
The DVD market, which was experiencing rapid growth at the time, caused Fight Club to not only break even, but actually become profitable. It is now in the top 250 films of all time on IMDB, at number 28.
Happy Postings and Earnings, sag777.
HAPPY DAPPY.

I would have to agree with the better ending being the movie. A big plus for it is the awesome music in the background. I Love It!

As cliche as it sounds, reading Fight Club in HS really did change my life and the way I thought about things (and got me into literature in the first place, so if anything I have to thank him for that). I read it again just last month, and it was still just as good, I just appreciated it for different things.
My favourite ending is the film version because of how powerful it is, and how perfectly timed the musical score is. However, the book certainly has you wondering what's in store next for Tyler Durden.

I think the ending from the movie is better cose Tyler managed to finish somehow his plan.

I really preferred the movie ending. The book ending was more depressing, the movie had a bit of an uplifting end and gave hope to "Jack" and his life. Letting him find the change he was seeking throughout when he created Tyler.
