Meredith or the new girl for McDreamy?

I came across an article in which Patrick Dempsey said that his character will be making a choice at the end of this season whether to stay with Meredith or move on. He said that he would rather see his character move on. I've also read that the new character, the nurse he started talking to, might be his new romance on the show. Would you rather see Derek and Meredith work it out, or see him with the new girl. I wish he and Meredith would commit to something, but I don't see that happening and their relationship is just too weird for me. So, hopefully we see some romance with this new character. I've also heard Joshua Jackson might join the cast this season...new love interest for Meredith?

Well, I would like to see Meredith and Derek together, but I think it would be good for them to break up for awhile. I think its likely he will start seeing the nurse. I haven't heard anything about Joshua Jackson coming on the show but that would be cool. I always liked him. More eye candy for the show too :)

I hope that Derek and Meredith can work it out. I don't like the new girl at all. She's not very pretty and just seems to be a stick in the mud. I don't see a big romance here but who knows. I don't think it will help the story line if they do hook up and hit it off. She just doesn't seem like a likable person/actress to me.

Ratings have been down for this show, so a new love interest might be the answer. I think Meredith and Derek will never be together until the end of the show. The writers don't want them to be happy together. My feeling is they think the ratings would go way down, if they are happy.
I don't know the solution to improving the ratings, but new actors on the show has helped improve ratings for other shows. It just needs to be the right person.
Joshua Jackson hasn't filmed any episodes of the show yet. I'm not sure, if he will ever be on the show.

Thats true, if Meredith and Derek actually got together and were happy for more than a few weeks I don't know where the show would go. No one on the show can ever be happy for more than a few weeks actually if you think about it. I guess thats what makes it a drama..

I heard about Joshua Jackson joining the cast, but I don't think he is meant for Meredith. I say bring the Vet back. I think she was good with Chris O'Donnell.
Rose isn't bad. However, the stark contrast between Rose and Meredith is a bit annoying. She is the exact opposite of Meredith in every way: looks, personality and attitude.
I am pretty tired of them. Their relationship has seemingly run its course. I think someone outside the hospital would be nice. There is too much nonsense going on in that place.

I used to really like this show last year. However, this year, I can't seem to bring myself to watch full episodes. Somehow, the majic is gone for me. Maybe it is the whole Meredith and Derek back-and-forth, cat-and-mouse thing, I'm not sure. Perhaps the controversy surrounding the show and the on-set tension is just wearing to me. Maybe it is just that the "newness" or the "novelty" of the show has worn off.

I have a feeling Meredith and McDreamy are almost over. I used to like them together but I think they are boring now, I already had a feeling McDreamy & the nurse were going to hook up last episode. All the life has gone out of Meredith & Mcdreamy now that they are not sneaking around anymore trying to hide their relationship and now that his ex-wife is gone. I have seen them go back and forth too much and now I have lost interest in them as a couple. I am loving Alex & Lexie though.
