How many straight hours can you Watch TV?

I've often wondered if there are people who need TV to live as plans need water. It's incredible how many straight hours they can just sit down and watch whatever they put on TV. They are the well known couch potatoes. I must admit that i was close to that 10 years ago, but now I share my time with other activities like reading and the computer, and frankly, i think it's great to do different things instead of only one all the time. How many hours do you usually watch TV? what is the biggest amount of straight hours that you've ever watched TV?

I think lately I could only last for not more than three hours and once I go beyond that hours, the TV would be watching me instead. LOL!

Hi LightninStrike! The longest time I ever spent infront of the tv was 4 hours and that was a long time ago because I have been spending more time with the computer nowadays. I hardly watched the tv anymore except for the news. Take care and have a nice day. :)

Depends on the weather. If its rainy outside, i could watch a marathon of movies or episode for 12 hours straight or even longer! LOL!

For the past 2 yrs, I hardly watch tv. Not tht I don't like tv. Just tht my hubby n son wld be watching their programs which I am not keen. My hubby did wanna buy me a tv but I told him we dont need tht as I dont miss much for not watching tv.
