Are you sure it is your monthly? Yes, we women do get moody, but then again....it could be that built in fire alarm that is signaling that something is wrong with your life? You might be unhappy in an area and need to fix it. Medication is not always the way. We, in this new found time, want to take meds and think that will solve everything. Not always the case. I think men have us snookered that everytime we mouth off...it's our monthly or menopause. NOT always the case. We have either seen something someone else has which we don't have and want it and don't know how to obtain it or something we put aside to help a loved one and not got the recognition. Felt neglected, got mad at ourselves because we gave something up for a friend or loved one and not received the thanks or recognition as I stated earlier. Spring cleaning and rearranging doesn't just mean cleaning closets in the spring time....you can also use it anytime of the year and apply it to our lives. I hope you evaluate before taking meds. Travel....that will either make you appreciate what you have or find new greater horizons! Something under the hood? (TGIF@marketplaceleaders.org)

Go and get some fresh air. See a few friends. Get a good book. Or a self help book. Venting always helps too.

Around that time of the month I get very cranky, cry a lot, and I yell a lot. My cousins hate it and always know to avoid me at that time since I watch them. They will just go and hide in the play room. LOL.

No, I take midol. But the truth is at that time is the only time I can only tell people the truth about something like my neighbors. That is the best time for me to tell them off or something that I dont do because I am not like that any other times. So it comes in handy for me:)

I have my period too right now and am up and down with my moods I keep arguing with my husband and have even fallen out with my mum I get such bad moods. I am usually alright throughout the month, but before, during and after my periods I have the most horrendous pms. I really believe it is due to my periods. My husband always knows when my period is due because he feels like he is stepping on egg shells one minute all will be fine the next 3rd world war is carrying on and he cannot say anything right.

Hi ejobsucces! I used to be out of control with my moods before when the time of the month comes but now I have already tamed it in a way. hehe.. I hate it when i get irritated or annoyed even with little things and i become unreasonable and people around me are affected. Because i am aware of the affects with the people i love, i consciously make an effort not hold on to my temper and just try to count one to ten until the irritation subsides. hehe..Take care and have a nice day. :)

My emotional used to up and down when my month period is coming. Sometime I felt it difficult to control my emotion during the mothly period. I have read many sources to find out what is maing our emotional getting changing and uncontrol when pms time. I try to doing yoga every morning and now I have reduced even just little the bad feeling during the pms. I tried to control my breath and also my food in order to maintain this emotion and it is working good for me.

Thanks for your comment. I want to say, that food issue is soo true. I think watching what you eat can possibly decrease the cramping. And if I dont have alot of cramping, I can almost control my emotions with the breathing. But that yoga sounds super relaxing. I just wish i was flexiable enough to do it. but for now, I will watch what i eat and try some exercises and learn to breathe better
