Spam emails- how do you stop them?

I have been getting these spam emails, sometimes 2 or 3 a day, for about a month now. They are all from different senders, but they all are the same- How to enlarge your male parts. These emails contain no link to click to be removed from the mailing list as many do. They also don't have my email address in the 'to' field. They sometimes have nothing there or some other email address that I don't recognize. Does anyone have any idea where these types of spam come from or how to stop them?

the only way I get to not see them is when they get into my in box I mark them spam and the next time they come it, they go straight to my spam folder. Every time I log on to my email, I empty it. I don't know of any better way that that. Good luck.

I have gotten many of these too. They are almost as bad as those bank transfers awarded to me nonsense. I have tried like you to see if I can get removed from them but can't either. Don't know how I got on in the first place as even my ISP e-mail account which I never use was hit with them.

It could be that someone who has you on their contact list has gotten a virus. Its best not to open these emails and definitely do not open any attachments or reply to them. Depending on what e-mail client you are using you can mark them as junk ( it should eventually become pretty accurate at discerning between junk and genuine mail) or black list the email addresses. Some email accounts allow you to set up filters that block emails containing certain keywords. I hope this has been of some use to you.
