Christmas tree toppers

Hi Hun! Each year we alternate between the star and the angel going on the top of the Christmas tree! I don't have a photo to share hun sorry :( Luv & Hugzz, PurpleTeddyBear.

well my friend i am not sure yet what we will be using.but one year i used a teddybear that i got from boyd's and it was so darn cute.it looked great on the tree too. have a great day hon!!! pattie

I don`t decorate a tree anymore , but when I did it was always an angel , when I was at home it was always a star , but I agree a santa hat would be a cute change ,I would atleast laugh at the sight of it ...

I have a beautiful bisque angel that my parents gave me 1968..I have used it since..My tree would be naked without her. xoxoxoxoxo

When I first moved to Nova Scotia my sister sent me this beautiful angel with lights that flicker. It is very pretty. We always would spend Christmas morning together just us, before I moved 2000 km away. I was so sad that I couldn't spend Christmas with her. So every year when I put on the angel I think that she is here with us. I will never use anything else for a topper. She is my best friend and always want to feel like she is near me. I have both an angel and a star but the tree we bought is not strong enough to hold my angel on so we have been putting the star up there. I think a Santa hat would look really cute I might have to try that thank your friend for the idea.

I normally put an Angel on top of mine and have done for many Years I thought of going for a change one year but I didn't like the Star so I went back to the Angel

I have an angel on my tree. Its been on my tree now for 5 years it also lights up.

I have an angel that my mom gave me when I was 16 years old that sits on top of my tree ever year. She has a red flowing dress and white wings and she has a candel in her hands that light up and then there is a small light under her dress that makes her glow, I would put anything else on top of the tree but her.

For a long time I had an angel on the top of my tree, but most recently it has been a star. If I find a pretty star and it is in good shape year after year, I prefer to use that. I just never find an angel that I think fits well on top of my tree.

We have had an angel atop our tree for almost the last six years, but I am thinking next year I want a different topper !

I collect snowmen and so I have a snowman on the top of my tree. I do like the idea of the santa hat though. I have never seen that done. Also, the bows are a great idea although our kitten would have torn it up in no time. He was in the tree so much and I had no idea of how to keep him out of it.

A long time ago I decided to be really different and made a DreamCatcher Tree topper. It's about 5 inches in diameter, predominantly white with red webbing, and has white feathers hanging from it as well..I then made a cone out of ordinary poster paper and wrapped around it single crochet chain stitch in white yarn, then attached the point of the cone to the dreamcatcher...the cone area then can slip over the top of the tree..unfortunately I don't have a picture of it. Yet anyway

For our family, it's always been a star that you'll see on top of our christmas tree. But just for this year we decided to have it changed. We, sisters, have been choosing between an angel or a santa but when we went to the store it turned out that an angel costs cheaper than a santa so we settled for it. Sorry, but i don't have a photo of it.

I don't have trees since Ross was born because he always knocked it over with him being so unsteady on his feet , But being Scottish I have a fiber optic Santa in a kilt , I laugh every year as so many people go have a peek to see if he is a true Scotsman lol xx

Every year we place an angel on top of our tree. She looks so beautiful with her green winter dress coat trimmed with fuzzy white. My best friend tops her tree with a bow and the tendrils flow down to the bottom of the tree and it looks gorgeous.

I put a Boyds Bear tree topper on mine. I've had him for years. I also got an angel one this year from a local store who was giving them away for donating 3 cans of food for a food drive. They are beautiful.

We usually have stars that light up at the top. One year we had an angel. But this year...we're lucky to even have a tree or ornaments, frankly. I don't know if we'll even have a star. I wish we did have a topper...something up go up there. But we'll see I guess.
