Ice-cream or Cake?

I don't personally like them both because i'm not into sweets but if a have to choose between them i'd choose cake instead. At least with cakes i can just skim off the icing and it wouldn't taste that much sweet anymore. Everytime i celebrate my birthday there's this only one and the same flavor/kind of cake that my family would buy for me. It's ube macapuno cake from Red Ribbon bakeshop. I really like that flavor combination. So yummy.

As much as i love cake, i like ice cream more. I dont know what it is about ice cream but its just tastes better than cake.

I love cake and can eat it anytime. I like to make healthy cakes from scratch. I like ice cream sometimes.

Hi metalcrasher, welcome to mylot. I do like cake, but I just love ice cream. My favorite is butter pecan. I could eat ice cream every day.

If I can I would like to choose both :) I like to eat ice cream but also like to eat cakes. So it depends on the situation and the moment. If it is tea time, of course cake would be nice, but if it is a sunny day, ice cream will be my choice.

I used to eat a lot of cake but now that I have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes I eat more Ice Cream I like Butter Pecan and Chunky chocolate. I can only eat the low-carb kind but it still taste good. I think everyone in the world likes Ice Cream. I wonder when it was first served and who invented it? Something else to learn about. Now you have peaked my curiosity...must find out about Ice Cream while eating some.

if i choose between the two, i will eat first the cake before the ice cream.. you know what? here in the Philippines we have what we called "ice cream cake"... it is actually an ice cream in a form of a cake... it was made by our fellow Filipina somewhere in Metro Manila. in fact she got a lot of orders...

I like ice cream, hands down. My favorite, though, is an ice cream cake. Yum! My favorite flavors are anything that is new and different. I had one flavor a couple of weeks ago that was called Birthday Cake Ice Cream. It had bits of cake and frosting in the ice cream. That was great! When I was pregnant with my oldest daughter I had a bowl of ice cream every night. I was obviously needing something from the ice cream in my diet. I'm guessing the milk.

I would prefer both.... but I usually buy ice cream on special occasions. i experiment on different and new flavors. Did I mention that in our country ice cream is really convenient to buy because there are companies that have bikes that go around erach street in a village to sell unlike cakes...

i always like to save the best for last...so i always eat the cake first ...then eat ice cream..hmmm yummy!
