I am going to my first laptop computer soon, I want to know about laptop powersources. If a laptop says it comes with a battery, does that mean you have to buy a new one when it dies? or can you recharge it? Is there a rechargable battery you can buy for laptops?

Hi:)
I have one and the battery is good forever as long as its charged. It comes with a battery and all you have to do is switch the little switch on the side of the computer on and its on battery. It doesnt last along time,i keep mine plugged in all the time so that way its charging/charged all the time.I move my laptop upstairs sometimes, but mostly keep it downstairs in one place always plugged in.The computer gives you a warning when the battery is low and it will charge it for you automatically when plugged in,or when your using the laptop.I have a Toshiba 17 inch screen windows vista that just came out this year,i love it BUT have a problem when installing things because of the non-compatibilty issues i have with this newer model.Next year the programs will come out that are made compatible with this.
So yes they are rechargeable,so you never have to buy a new one or throw it away.Keep it in it all the time and never take it out fully charged.
