Today I was sitting in the living room and noticed it was very windy out. So windy that I thought my baby pine trees were going to blow away LOL. Leaves blowing everywhere! Well I look across the street and my neighbor is out there all bundled up vacuuming up leaves!! LOL!! I started laaughing. Everytime she would get a couple vacuumed up like 50 more would blow her way!! She kept at it for a good 30-40 min then gave up and went in the house. I bet she will be back out there tomorrow doing it again. This lady has a thing about leaves in her yard. Shes always out there vacuuming or leaf blowing them, or raking! She hates leaves I guess. Do you know anyone like this? Do your neighbors do strange things?

That's funny. My landlord was complaining about the leaves the other day and he was trying to rake them all up, but not when it was windy. That's a really silly time to go out and try to clean up your leaves. I guess she really does hate leaves or just wants to be ahead of the game.
I guess you can just be glad she doesn't vacuum the leaves off when they're still on the tree!

Now that I would love to see!! Im surprised she dosent. She was out there raking leaves when there was only like 5 in the whole neighborhood!! LOL. Im glad she dosent live at the other end of the street. There are 2 huge trees that drop thousands of leaves to where the whole street is covered. I think she would have a heart attack tring to vacuume them all up!!!

I think I'd love to see someone vacuuming leaves off of a tree.
I kinda like leaves on the ground, I think it kinda looks pretty and adds to the loveliness of fall.
So does she constantly have garbage bags full of leaves in her yard? or does she collect them and maybe her house is full of leaves!

I used to have a neighbor that had to have her car parked just so in her little driveway. She would stop in the road, slowly pull in and then back up and pull ahead repeatedly for 5 minutes or more (blocking the road and stopping any traffic that happened to come through). Sometimes part way through she would give up and start all over again by pulling all the way out into the road (regardless of if other vehicle were coming) and drive to the corner for a u-turn and come back to start the whole process again. She would even be out there with her car door swung wide open, leaning out as far as she could to see behind her. Once she spent all that time parking, got out and unloaded her groceries on to the grass and then got back into her car to spend another 5 minutes parking in the same place she was to begin with. I seriously spent almost 30 minutes one day just watching her park her car.

I love to watch people when they dont know that I am watching. I figure it is okay because I am sure I have given them a million and one reasons to laugh at me. I am a compleat dork in like and I am okay with who I am. Sometimes this makes for a few people laughing at my expense. Oh well, its life. I wish I could have been there to see it.
Next time maybe you cn invite us all over to watch her over a cup of cocoa or tea or something.

I have a huge maple tree in the yard, and I could drive myself crazy trying to keep up with the leaves! lol I bet that was too funny to watch. The neighbors love to walk by when I'm raking leaves, because I have a Chesapeake Bay retriever that loves to play in the leaves, so as I'm raking she's jumping up trying to catch leaves. Last year by boyfriend got the leaves raked into a nice pile, and then she plowed right through them, I was taking pictures and laughing.

Thats a very cool picture. You can tell shes having the time of her life!! My dog Star who is australian shepard loves and I mean LOVES snow. It snowed here the other day just enough to cover the ground. I put her out and she ran of the porch darn near killed herself and did like 30 circles in the yard! She was to excited about the snow. LOL. Heres a pic of her last winter.

Reminds me of my old neighbor. He would always be farting around in his yard doing things that didn't need done. Mowed when you couldn't tell he what he was cutting cause it was so short anyways, plowing a millimeter of snow that will just melt in a half hour. Weird or bored? I never figured that out.

Sounds like a really good excuse to do some cardiovasular exercises and practice deep-breathing while 'working at blowing leaves up into a vacuum cell' !
I guess it is better than just watching them fall from her couch with donuts and coffee wondering why she can't be out there exercising . . . who knows it might be fun too.
Thanks for the humorous visual though . . .

That would be a good scene for a Mr. Bean movie!!! LOL. she really must hate leaves falling in her yard. actually, we only have one neighbor because the subdivision where we live is not yet fully saturated. (our side anyway) they just recently build a house next door to us and moved in. they are a complete and utter fruit cakes!!! they keep thinking that people are going to rob them. i mean one noise in the night and that will completely set them off. my hubby and i sometimes cannot sleep because their paranoia is spreading to our own home!!! keep hearing, this and that because of them. but what can you do. its like family, you cannot choose them!!! lol

Oh good Lord honey the neighbor across from me and the neighbor to my left both do it! I would not be a bit surprised to see them in my yard someday trying to make sure that my leaves don't blow into their yards!

My neighbors are common, but they have some habits may sounds strange too. my neighbor live in my top floor often decorate his bedroom whether in daytime or in night! every morning i am waked up by the sounds of cutting machine or others. the man who lives under me is an old man, and his ears may go somethings wrong, so he must turn the voice to max to hear the sound clearly, it is just another torture for me when he watch TV..LOL
