Do you like Ramen noodles?

For some reason my little kid loves Ramen noodles, any variety. She doesn't like the spices that they include with the container and eats her noodles plain. Personally, I don't enjoy the taste of Ramen noodles. For the most part, I don't like pasta at all.
Here's a trick that I found to make Ramen noodles irresistable to little kids. Place half a brick of dried Ramen noodles into a small bowl of water (making sure that the water covers the noodles) and microwave for four to five minutes, until water is hot. Then break up the soft noodles into the water and allow the noodles to sit for awhile.
Usually, I let her noodles blanche in the hot water for ten to fifteen minutes. During that time, they absorb much of the water and become very soft. And, the Ramen looks just like spagetti. Just a tip, that I wanted to share. Hope it helps.
Do you like Ramen noodles? What's your favorite way to make them? Do you use the Ramen spice noodle packet?

i like them..i dont love them..and if there is almost anything else to choose from i choose it instead lol!
however, my 12yr old loves them. and if she is offered a choice of items, almost always picks the ramen noodles.
i only like the chicken flavor, with lots of garlic salt (as if it needs more sodium lol) and lemon pepper in it.
i survived on ramen noodles for far too long a number of years ago to ever love the stuff!

Never thought to try lemon pepper. May give that a try. My kid likes hers plain, but I need to dress them up a bit before I have them.

I hate that people call them Ramen Noodles!
I prefer the name, Oodles of Noodles.
I do like them. I, however do not make them as you do.
I break the brick up before I open the pack. I then put them in the water and put it on high. When the water boils, they're done. and soft and good.
I only like the oodles of noodles chicken flavor and a lot of times I add cheese.

Yeah i love them too. We call it in my coutry student food because it is so cheap and students don't have much money the most time. I don't have any favorite flavor I think all of them are very good. i cook them just with place the noodles to the bowl and add hot water and let sit for five mintes. I add the spice packet, but not all of it, because then it is just too salty. I have seen selling Ramen noodles on the eBay. What a strange thing.

The only way I ever ate Ramen noodles is in Ramen salad made with the noodles, sesame seeds, bagged coleslaw and green onions. The dressing is made with oil, vinegar, sugar, and the seasoning packet.

I like ramen noodles, but I dont love them. The pork flavored ones are my favorite. I eat them most days for lunch since they are so cheap. They really help stretch a tight food budget.

i make mine the same way for my kids and they love them also, but they have so much sodium in them, that i only use half of the season package just enough for the flavor.glad that someone else does it the same way.

No, I dont like ramen and noddles. I can live without it. I will only eat that when theres nothing I can get from our ref or I am in a far away place and nothing to buy and to heat my stomach. I also believe it is not healthy to kids as it is full of seasoning which is not good for the body. At home it is also the way it is cooked. Put in hot water for 5 to 10 minutes and its ready. And those ingredients inside is being used to give the taste.

I love Ramen noodles! I only like the spicy variety though. I break my brick into quarters and place them all in the pan of water, add the spice and boil until the noodles are tender. Then I drain out all the water. Somtimes I add some cooked chicken to it. But usually I just eat the noodles.
My baby daughter loves ramen noodles too and I do the same thing for her with the non-spicy kind. I also add vegetables to hers though.
I like the taste of the noodles before they are cooked and still crunchy. I always pop the "flyaway" noodles in my mouth after I am finished breaking up the brick.

I do like ramen noodles and I guess I like it the original way not the instant cooking one. I've lived most of my life in Japan and have adapted their taste to the real ramen noodles. I like it any flavor. when it comes to the ramen noodles the way your daughter eats it, I sometimes see my sister do the same. It may be the simplicity of the taste that she likes, but I prefer mine with the spice noodle packet if it was the instant noodle.
