Prunes are globally renowned for their laxative properties. How do prunes contribute to the healthy functioning of our digestive system?
How much is the right quantity if one is eating prunes for system clearing?

Lots of dried fruits have high amounts of fiber but for some reason prunes get all the attention. A serving is about 4 prunes. They're also a good source of Vit A and potassium.
Also be sure to drink lots of water when eating prunes and other high fiber foods. Eating a lot of fiber and not enough liquid can actually CAUSE constipation.
